I thought that same thing the entire time I had my 2 dr Bronco. I wish it was on the longer wheel base with more cargo area and still just the 2 larger doors.
The smaller front doors on the 4 door were somewhat of a deal beaker for me, which was one of the main reasons I bought the 2 door...
LOL
If V8 swapping pretty much anything, I doubt fuel milage is ever going to be an issue.
The cost alone of the V8 swap would buy the fuel for life of that vehichle. LOL
Honestly.
I am not 100% sure fuel mileage won't improve or at least be pretty similar.
Not ever seen great fuel milage...
I was thinking there was some sort of adapter required to use that 10R80 transmission behind the Godzilla.
I am still just learning about what all I am in for when getting this project done.
Since the power was not that far off, I was just sort of wondering why not adapt to the transmission...
That is awesome info.
Thanks a lot for all that info.
Very interesting stuff.
I was thinking I saw or read that one of or someone's Bronco Godzilla swap had used not only the electronic shifter from the Ranger Raptor but also the T-case.
Least I thought that was what they said. That I...
Awesome.
For me street / daily driving and light trails around my property is about all there will be for offroad. When I say light trails, its more like gravel roads creek beds and speeds more in the 5-15 mph.
It is my understanding that I am only affecting the weight by around 130 lbs...
Thanks !
Thats right along the lines of my understanding as well.
Been a pretty confusing process so far, However, I think after speaking with Jeff again yesterday . We might finally be on track to getting things moving and hopefully will be starting the swap within the next 30-45 days.
For...
Seems Juicy Motorsports parted ways with Stamperbuilt and there is now a facility in Michigan maybe be doing my swap Godzilla swap assuming I stick with Juicy Motorsports.
Was wondering if anyone had heard anything good or bad about Juicy affiliated Detroit facility?
Sounded like the shop has...
Thanks !
All Very interesting.
I had noticed the Juicy website showed they were in GA, but saw a few bits of info and was told they were in Texas. Been a bit challenging figuring out who is doing what when and where.
Any idea why Juicy is moving to Utah. I sort of hope I don’t have to ship my...
Well I have learned a bit more after visiting with Stanghi last week.
Seems there is 4 companies coming together to make these builds happen.
Now I am still trying to figure out who does exactly what ?
Stanghi I know is in charge of Tuning.
I believe either Stamperbuilt or Juicy is doing the...
Yes, I would love to see them on a SAS wheel.
I run the SAS wheels on my Ranger Raptors, and was really curios what it looks like on the Bronco wheel with a tire mounted etc. .
Yea, they are pricy , Ford wants 1025 for them.
‘I was thinking I could use a discount code maybe get them down around...
Yea, those are the true beadlocks on yours which that’s different than this kit I am looking at.
‘The kit is just a slightly different look, and supposedly a grey color.
Here the description on the ford website.
Bronco Beadlock Trim Rings provide an easy way to customize your Bronco by adding...
I spotted this kit for grey beadlock rings. Simulated kind.
‘It’s a ford kit. Can’t seem to find any pics of these on a Bronco .
If you have this kit on your Bronco , could you please share some pics,
‘Really hard to picture based on the Ford website pics.
Bronco Beadlock Trim Ring Kit - Gray...
I am curious if they are trying to kill off the 2dr.
I had the 2.7L in my 2023 2dr Bronco .
Would not have even considered a 2.3.
It was not exactly overpowered with the 2.7L not bad but nothing crazy when optioned with the SAS pkg.
Fantastic thread!
‘I switched from Bronco to Ranger Raptor almost 2 years ago.
I am told this Godzilla swap is going to also be offered for the Ranger Raptor.
‘I contacted Juicy yesterday, I think I am 3rd in line for the swap.
‘Not exactly sure what all is included as far as how they get to...
