@WheelMe The dealer got it fixed up under the warranty, they said it was a bad ignition coil.
It’s a badlands so I think it came with a HD modular bumper stock… I replaced it with a Fab Four stubby with a Warn Zeon 10k. I really like the fit of the bumper, but I had to remove the front sensors.
I saw that ad on Craigslist. Sweet rig. Nice price too. Watched the video they posted, seems like a lot of the rust problem areas are in pretty good condition. What's first on the list?
I just wanted to throw my 2 cents out here. Not worth much on the inter-webs, but I've been wheeling a long time, not quite buggy hardcore, but I have been down some gnarly trails with my 68. If you're newish, my advice is, go to Hollister. It is a GREAT place to start. There is a huge variety...
The trip was kind of a bust. I drove up Thursday, when I started climbing the hills on the 80, I got a check engine light. When I would get on the gas going up the hills in the higher RPM range, my engine would misfire badly. Since it was later in the day, I decided to stop at an area that I was...
Planning on heading up to the Tahoe / Truckee area tomorrow for a few nights of camping. Does anyone have any recommendations for dispersed camping spots or trail recommendations? I am looking to start around the stampede reservoir area, but may migrate north / west towards the Plumas NF area...
@Peteduce I got the bumper install done last night but I am not sure how to attach pictures in a response so they are up in the original post. I also installed the JKS body mount bracket that deletes the crash bar receivers. It all looks soooo clean now and the JKS bracket made a TON of room in...
I really like the bumpers that Ford designed, but the winch issue has been a huge pain. I haven't been impressed with ANY aftermarket winch bumpers, until I saw a thread about the FabFours stubby bumper. I like the overall shape, fit and finish of it, based on the pictures I've seen. I ordered...
I ended up not running Sourgrass. I drove up to the trailhead of Slick Rock to scout out the trail conditions, then drove back down to Copperopolis to camp for the night. I was thinking about playing on the rocks with my 21 at Slick Rock a little, but I chicken'd out cause I don't have a...
@@BadBlueBronco I'm struggling big time with sending a response from my phone Lol. reposting. I figured this as a solo trip unless some folks here want to join. The trails are going to be pretty easy, not hard wheeling, just some nice sight seeing.
Doing a quick trip this weekend 4/8 and 4/9. I am going to drive up Highway 4, Friday afternoon I am going to hit Sourgrass trial, camp overnight there. On Saturday, I was going to continue on to Carrol Hollow. I am potentially going to camp a second night on the Carrol Hallow route, depending...
Wheel (rim) size will not dictate how large of a tire you can run, it’s all about the sidewall. i.e. a 35” tire on a 16” wheel will have a taller sidewall than a 35” tire on a 17” wheel. This matters when you’re airing down. The more sidewall you have when aired down, the better you’re ride and...
I had an OK experience with Capital Ford in San Jose. They are doing MSRP for all customer orders. The only Broncos they mark up, are the orders that people abandon. I picked mine up Oct 1st and they had four or five other Broncos on their lot at that time, so it seems like they've been getting...
