Has anyone transferred their order away from Serramonte to another dealer that doesn't have as long of a waiting list? As much as I appreciate Sean's communications and the deal they're offering - I feel like the way Ford changed up the allocation process has ended up causing some of us to get hosed. Are there any other dealers in Northern CA who are offering MSRP and don't have as long of a wait list as Serramonte? I don't want to bail on Sean, because I truly believe he and the other folks at Serramonte are doing the best they can to help us, but this wait is ridiculous, and it's just exhausting.

I'm not sure if you can transfer an order at this point, but Frontier Ford committed to MSRP when I reserved back in January and ordered in March -- I picked it up for MSRP last week. If you can transfer an order, I'd assume it would have to go through Ford themselves, and I don't know if "waitlist too long" is a good enough reason to justify it. Have you considered the commodity constraints on your build and reducing them to increase your chances at a build?

@SPITmadFIRE yeah, that's the tough part - my build is a badlands/sasquatch/luxe/MIC/2.7 ... I removed the tow package LOL .. but none of the other things are anything I'm willing to compromise on. From the sounds of it, my delay is more about the number of orders Serramonte has, and where I'm at in line... I'm starting to think I won't see it until the end of 2022, even though my reservation date is 7/20/20

@calgecko Yeah, I dropped the tow package and leather seats from my 4dr Badlands 2.3L 7MT w/ softtop and lux back in July -- got the scheduling email in October and it was build early December. I would say your constraints are hurting you more than your choice of dealer, by far.

I’d recommend waiting it out. I don’t think switching to another dealer in the area is going to drastically help you.

I had an OK experience with Capital Ford in San Jose. They are doing MSRP for all customer orders. The only Broncos they mark up, are the orders that people abandon. I picked mine up Oct 1st and they had four or five other Broncos on their lot at that time, so it seems like they've been getting theirs in a timely manner. They salesmen I dealt with was fine, but couldn't tell me anything I already didn't know, build / delivery tracking or other...

I thought about the same thing. I think Serramonte has been upstanding, But in the end I'm just getting that "invoice" deal which is what? Saving a couple grand at most? Not sure if that is worth waiting a whole another year... But can you even transfer your reservation at this point?

@da_jokker I'm not sure :( I think if not, I'd have to create a whole new order at a new dealer, and then I'd also lose out on the price protection as well as the ford pass rewards we've been promised for being early reservation holders :(

Fairfield is pretty good, Jonathan Ramos I believe his name was. I got mine from Norm Reeves in LA. Wouldn't recommend Napa, maybe Zumwalt (Now sage) in St Helena, use them for service.
