BIG UPDATE: On my Instagram I've been keeping track of whats been what's been going down the past week but now that it's all said and done I want to take this opportunity to share how awful of an experience I had with Ford of Kendall.
So this all started when the MIC 2.0 roof on the Bronco...
I'm with you on that but I'd be more worried about the knuckleheads armed with impact guns crossthreading bolts and destroying wheels. Ask me how I know haha.
It's just gonna happen again. My raptor did the same thing and after 7 years I decided to buy stainless Allen bolts. Did the same to the bronco as the bolts were crusty way faster before I went aftermarket. If I had to do it again I'd get some fancy ARP 12 points.
Dealer says they are still investigating the leak. Supposedly they have "special water sprayers" yeah ok. In actuality it's been sitting in their parking lot for 12 hours getting poured on and hasn't even been touched since I dropped it off. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
I completely understand that however we are talking about a molded roof and a side window that should never leak at all. It would be a different story if it was seals. This is just bad quality plain and simple. If this type of water intrusion was normal it would be catastrophic.
My MIC 2.0 wildtrak has recently been subject to the wonderful South Florida daily rain and tropical storm which has defeated the hardtop. The first leak was coming from the driver side rear quarter window which was letting in water from the top. I actually noticed this because all the windows...
I don't think I'd want a vehicle as electronically complete as a bronco to have some aftermarket security system installed. That's just a nightmare waiting to happen
I agree however this doesn't really have much to do with suspension because no matter what suspension you install it will always have the same up travel minus spacer lifts and those dumb huge lifts. You can put race coilovers on and it will have the same result if not worse due to shorter...
Just went wheeling in my Wildtrak all stock besides method 0 offset wheels (doesnt matter). Ripped some dirt road at high speeds, hit whoops, caught very little air, and all that fun stuff. Turns out that under compression the tire rubs the inner lip of the front fender. Not a big deal at all...
I've had 3 fords with wireless Charging including the bronco and they are all 100% useless. Don't even bother with it, I use mine for sunglasses storage
I also have a pretty much constant squeak coming from the cargo area. Check my top and have a large gap so that's not my issue. I think the issue is the seals making noise so I'm going to try and clean them
