We have logged over 1000 miles driving with these on highway with no whistling issues (y) Yes, they do have a very light texture on them (similar to the factory covers) so they would need to be primed and block sanded but can definitely be painted.

Yes, we are producing spare caps, will have some inventory by the end of the year for free replacement. It takes a little bit of cutting and fabrication but yes, it is possible.

Good question! Looks like you know our products pretty well :) Ram is a little different since all the dash lighting is in place from the factory and we just change it so that you can control the color. Unfortunately Bronco does not have the ambient dash lighting so there is no factory light...

We powered ours from a nearby ignition source so that it turns off when you turn off your Bronco. The controller has memory so the lights go back to the same color and brightness when you turn the truck back on. Just drove back from Vegas 24+ hours and its totally fine at night, not distracting...
