Yes, they do have a very light texture on them (similar to the factory covers) so they would need to be primed and block sanded but can definitely be painted.
We went straight to the nearby interior fuse panel in this case.

Yes, we have developed off of and tested on the base mirrors already so those are totally compatible and any of the Aux switches will work for these, they are very efficient and have less than a 5A total draw so can even be tied in with existing lights on the same switch in many...

Ram is a little different since all the dash lighting is in place from the factory and we just change it so that you can control the color. Unfortunately Bronco does not have the ambient dash lighting so there is no factory light...
We powered ours from a nearby ignition source so that it turns off when you turn off your Bronco. The controller has memory so the lights go back to the same color and brightness when you turn the truck back on.
Just drove back from Vegas 24+ hours and its totally fine at night, not distracting...
