We have changed the packaging that the lights go into so that there are foam spacers in place to prevent any contact in shipping that can potentially lead to paint damage.

Our lights have undergone compliance testing and are both DOT and SAE stamped. Correct you can not run all 6 lights to be in compliance, this is no different with any other kit with more than 1 fog light emitter. To be in compliance one light can be connected to an Aux just like any other...

Same as most mirror glass, its a clip mechanism. You pop it out (clips release) then it pops back in (clips re-engage).
