I think you have a pretty good idea going on here. I’d be inclined to color match the final product like the raptor fender vents. Having not ever looked at the ford snorkel in person, how does it attach around the window frame? Are there exposed bolt holes where it attaches?
I’ve had my HPR for 1 year next month. It’s a 2023, but was new on the dealers lot at the end of 2024. I paid $68k for it, and it has every option listed on your sticker. The original MSRP was $99,900.
I sent my original winch off with my badlands. I didn’t want to leave that hole for the next owner. I then got the FP winch kit for my Raptor delivered for $795 when Ford had them on sale last year.
This is the way Ford should sell the package. Painted flares and aluminum wheels make that look right. Good job. I sorta like the white pinch weld on this color scheme.
My Raptor has been the first vehicle, in a looonnng list of vehicles, that I haven’t had the desire to make modifications to. It’s that good from the factory.
I think you are correct. I have a ceiling hoist, so 10 minutes in and the hardtop is back off for a bit. I just won’t have the soft top installed. Easy enough to pull and replace the hardtop to drive around town.
The hardtop is more quiet than the soft top. But it will make you aware of new and different issues. While you will not feel like the car in the next lane is inside your bronco like the soft top does, it will leave you wondering if you inadvertently cracked open your window at higher speeds. All...
Wanted to get it on before it gets too cold. My Hummer EV has removable roof panels that are much lighter to handle. It’ll assume the convertible duty for fall.
Hmmm, mine came with the hardtop and I bought the soft top off marketplace. Soft is noisier by far, but I run almost all summer with the windows pulled out. This is why I wanted it. I can throw the top back and pull it back up when I park at work. I often dispatch after I arrive at work, and can...
This is the 3rd year I've gone from my soft top back to my hard top at the end of the season. The past 2 years I've simply lowered the hard top into place and bolted it down. This year I lowered the rear shell, then took extra time to absolutely center the the shell side to side and positioned...
I’d say all you need to do is call the GMC dealership in the photo to see if it’s legit. I would feel confident it is, which is why I passed it along. I just looked up gmc in mystic ct, the bronco is indeed for sale on their website for that price.
In the city? I wonder if you caught a bright reflection off of a building that heated it like a magnifying glass? Although, I’d expect the plastic grill to have warped.
