  1. Spy Video, Underbody / Suspension and Interior Closeups of 2021 Bronco Prototype!

Ohhh, I see. The digital dash is what makes car go faster. Shit, I've been doing it all wrong with my needles and alarm clock display all of these years.

Mustang is more expensive... because they can charge it. You're really comparing the NA mustang (GT350) to the top trim supercharged ZL1 camaro and claiming well the camaro is faster? really? What do you run at the track and what's done to your car? That'll tell if you need a driver mod or...

In older vehicles, especially those with TTBs, the swap is a lot easier... not many electronics to deal with, no center pumpkin/subframe to deal with and so on. There aren't many SFA swapped FJs for that exact reason.

You need some tires and to learn how to drive apparently. That, and you bought a heavy ass premium. My 2013 had 2 options: Auto and recaros. Ran 11.7 n/a, and have yet to take it back out with the blower, but needless to say I'd need a roll cage and I'm not ready for that.

The really hard core wrangler buyers don't start with a rubicon, they start with a sport and swap 1 ton axles right away... which is probably gonna be my next move. 37+ tires begin to question the dana 44s, and once you've swapped those out, you've thrown away the biggest part of the reason you...

The camaro is an all out track machine? By what measurement? It handles a little better, but the mustang is way faster in drag racing. And once mods are involved, it's lights out for the mullet. If the camaro is an all out track machine, what is the 2 seater, can't go over a speedbump vette?
  7. Spy Video, Underbody / Suspension and Interior Closeups of 2021 Bronco Prototype!

History says he's right. The FJ was a better all rounder than the Wrangler. The Vehicross was a better all rounder than the Wrangler. Where are they? The camaro is too hard? At what? The mustang mopped the floor with the camaro when that garbage got discontinued. That shitty rear axle...

You'd love my sxs... Coming from the jeep world I'm slowly learning how to fly across the washboard roads... Rent one sometime if you get a chance and you'll have two expensive hobbies :p

Dude, don't give Ford any idea with the IRS... I still have an 04 lincoln aviator that has the axle shaft through a hole in the frame... I wouldn't put it past them... It doesn't, but people on here make it sound like it's pretty much out of control and shakes your fillings out of...
  10. Spy Video, Underbody / Suspension and Interior Closeups of 2021 Bronco Prototype!

According to everyone on here, everything with 2 solid axle rides like the wagon from little house on the prairie. So no, that line of thinking, that they bought the wrangler because they wanted something more civilized, but nothing else was available... not the rav 4, not one of the many...

They kept the mustang alive because it sold in the 150-250k a year in the times when the camaro/firebird was selling in the 10-20k... Sorry, but I'm gonna claim that one having bought a few of them myself - so yeah, it's me and the other mustang fans that did it. And we did it because it was...

The problem is, the escape, explorer, edge, flex, and expedition all can handle snow and the occasional mud... If Ford wants to compete with itself or the hundreds of other crossovers and sport utilities that can handle those things, great, it looks like that's what they're doing... and the...
  13. [Unofficial] Production Bronco Renders based on Bronco R

Can you photoshop a solid axle in one of em, so we can at least dream?
  14. The problem with the ride quality argument.

Having gone from the previous gen (2015 F350 dually) to a 2019 F450, I don't know what kind of magic they worked on the new frame/suspension, but it is a world apart... I can't count the number of times the 2015 got into the freeway harmonic bouncing... the 19 never did it once. that being...
  15. Super Duty Tremor Package

I played around with their configurator for a bit... it's disappointing you can't get the tremor package on the shorter trucks. I'd rock a reg cab long bed or supercab shortbed in a heartbeat. It would be a good camping truck - basically a bit more cushion than the standard wheels and tires on...
  16. Ford posts official Bronco mule off-road testing video

Amen... Makes me wanna find those posts from IFS proponents about how well a "well setup IFS" can do on the rocks. That garbage has as much wheel travel as a fox body mustang or crown vic...
  17. 2.3 ECO, MPG with Lift/Tires

Your figures for the 1999 V10 are a bit optimistic - and misquoted around the web quite a bit. They're actually still running the non pi heads on the V10 in that year, which were good for a whopping 275hp and 410ft-lbs of torque. Here's the official brochure for 1999...
  18. 2020 Begins: Decade of the Bronco

You mean we're finally gonna get the vehicle we got a concept for in 2004, an announcement in 2018 as a 2019 model? :D
  19. 2.3 ECO, MPG with Lift/Tires

I've had my 2.7 F150 down to 8mpg towing... they can do eco and they can do boost, just not at the same time. The biggest problem with fuel economy in the 2.7 (and probably any ecoboost, my Fiesta ST included) is keeping your foot out of it because they're so much damn fun to drive. Never...
  20. 2021 Bronco (U725) Production Headlight Photo

My $70k F450 stock headlights are dogshit... the LED ones are much nicer, but at over 4 grand for the option, f that. The aftermarket isn't necessarily a bad option, it is if you indeed load up with chinabay stuff... For the superduties for example, there's a 1750 dollar option from Morimoto...
