Research 2007-08 GT500 TSB on the factory clutch. It couldn't hold the factory power. Well documented. I upgraded mine to the shelby performance clutch after 30K miles. No issues since, at 86K miles at 650HP.
On all transmissions there is a gear that typically is a 1:1 ratio or close to that. (I think 3rd for the bronco MT). Dyno shops use that gear when finding horsepower and torque numbers because it is most efficient at transferring power through the drivetrain. Any gears higher are less efficient...

I'm at 800 miles on my 7MT. I haven't experienced what you are describing. Does it climb in RPM without acceleration? That would be a faulty or slipping clutch. Now that I have experienced on an economy car.

I too have the block heater. There looks to be enough slack in the cord to redirect it outside the engine bay. I think the location lends itself for a 3 prong splitter to attach a battery blanket and or an oil pan heater.
As far as electrical output for European use I have no idea...
