You could trim the lower flange of the cup off. But I've had snow build up on all kinds of flaps. Just lightly tap them to knock the snow off.

Unless you spring for the uber expensive ($300-$400 a pair) flaps, or go generic auto parts store on the front mudflaps, you will have to do some modifications. Some members used the $49 OEM flaps and cut recesses for the rock rails. Myself and one other trimmed our rock rails to use the OEM...

Install a cement parking stop/chock in your driveway...drive over it, and park. About the only auto way I can think of.
