That is assuming all parts suppliers can keep up and produce quality products (Yeah I'm looking at you Webasto) it is optimistic, but I think that would be great if they can get through all those orders in that timeframe.
Also, that is excluding everyone who opted for a MY23 for the painted or...
How did Ford not know this prior to going into production. It amazes me they screwed the pooch this bad on something so basic as QC'ing the tops and making sure Webasto was ready to go "full speed"
Unless you want a painted or Mod top, where did they tell you 2023? Based on their production schedule that's not the case - they should be through all reservations in approx. 12 Months, unless you went for the Mod top.
300ish PER SHIFT - Two shifts per day. So take your 26 and divide by 2 - Roughly. they should get through all reservations, assuming no constraints on suppliers in about a year.
So at 550 Per shift with a 60/40 and 70/30 split rate favoring Bronco, they should be through all current reservations in about 9-11 Months.
That would make a lot of people happy
This is my issue. Everyone, and I mean everyone who has a reservation should have an ETA from Ford. Meaning "Your Bronco is on track to be Built in Q2 2022" or Q4 2021, whatever.
The non communication and just being in the dark as to when it will be built, show up, etc. is unacceptable on...
My main concern at this point is quality of product. I would hope Webasto is not cutting corners in some way to increase production. If hard tops start Cracking, fading, peeling or who knows what else in a year or two Ford will have a whole different problem.
I'll stay pumped until I start seeing Soft Top Bronco's sitting on Dealer lots in '22 and Reservation Holders are still waiting for their MIC top Broncos. Then I'll be P*ssed if i don't have mine yet.
