I think the Tweet by Levine telling people to basically seek out a Dealership that sells the right quantities of the whole Ford line and has a Reservation and allocation level that will support getting a '22 is ridiculous. I was annoyed before, but after reading that I am pissed. Like I am going...
"Just as important, your reservation time stamp has not changed. All Bronco orders will continue to be prioritized according to the time they were reserved, vehicle model and configuration, part availability and the number of vehicles your dealer receives."
I see Ford has updated the Language...
I was extremely excited to get a Bronco when revealed. This process is like being dragged through broken glass by Ford, their inability to communicate with their consumers is extremely frustrating. I was completely willing to wait 12 Months for a Vehicle, but 12 months later and we are still...
How about this allocation. Fill all existing reservations before the end of '22
I'm not waiting until 2023 or 2024 for a Vehicle I ordered in 2021. My dealer has 300 Orders, and got an Allocation of 50 for 2021. I dont even know what that means on how long to fill all those orders.
So the Equity people have in their trade ins due to vehicle shortages can be stolen by dealerships and its ok, like the dealership is entitled to it?
If you buy a house for $500k and then go to sign Escrow paperwork a month later and they say its now $550K because prices have gone up, you'd...
Seems like a happy ending because they got the Bronco, but the dealership still ripped him off for $4K, after attempting to rip him off for $10K. I'd have a bitter taste in my mouth and I would never use that scumbag dealership again. The other people that have reservations with that dealership...
I emailed my dealer last week about when they open so I could make any changes to my order for MY22, I was asked what changes I wanted to make for MY22 because the order banks were open. Which makes zero sense to me and I think they are dead wrong.
"We know it's no consolation for the delay but for 2022 you'll have access to new colors, new options, and new special editions. More details on 2022 ordering will be sent out in September."
Is this when everyone who ordered after 3/19 gets the shaft and bent over on Price increases?
"And if you want your Bronco sooner, consider switching to a 4-door soft top with hardtop prep kit – your dealer can help make that happen and get you out into the wild sooner."
Unless you ordered a Wildtrak, then you're screwed.
Thats not exactly true. If you did it correctly with your dealer, you have a signed "deal sheet" from your order, showing Model, options, etc. Now if you cancel your order and they want the stock they could change it at that point, but if you don't you have them locked to that specific build...
I agree, anyone allowed to order under the current order bank, with the "idea" you could possibly get a MY21 should have price protection. I have a signed "Deal" so they better honor it even thought it is an order after 3/19
That new 22 Pathfinder is starting to look like a great option while ford figures this out over the next 2-3 years. I am willing to wait, but I need a replacement in the very near future, and with Used car resale values at a premium right now, It may be the time to move and circle back in a few...
There is no way this is real. With so many orders moving to MY22 with Ford's production issues, they won't change the color schemes up that much and eliminate so many colors.
No way they eliminated Race Red and all the Blues Second year in.
Im not buying it.
