I think I may be in the spare tire delete camp as well. That way I won't have to buy a fifth wheel and tire.
Honestly I've used my spare one time in 21 years of car ownership and now that I know how to use a plug kit that would have worked. I've been stranded by dead batteries 4 or 5 times but...
They must post some naughty bumper pics. Might have to be logged in to instagram to see it. It's the same pictures that you posted, but with #MOREHASHTAGS
Also another forum member who was there asked and they said they had black bolts back ordered so that's why there's stainless bolts in...
While @bytheway was posting this I saw this vehicle in person tonight at a Bronco meetup. 16 or so Broncos there, 8 were new ones. This one definitely was the best new one. If you want some low quality, low light cellphone pics to go with these nice ones you can see them in this thread...
I re-uploaded the pictures and the instagram link.
Again the forum has turned the instagram link into a broken preview, but that contains a link to the post. You can also go to their page https://www.instagram.com/bodyguardbumpers/ (in case the forum breaks that link to its "bodyguardbumpers"...
My pictures or the instagram one?
For some reason the forum turned the instagram link into a media tag and that renders with a warning and "visit instagram" link which does go to the right post.
Was at a North Texas Bronco meetup tonight. About 16 Broncos, 8 new ones, 8 previous generations. The Bronco that stole the show was this one brought by Bodyguard (bodyguardbumpers.com)
The Bodyguard owners were there talking and handing out cards. I wasn't taking notes but here's the info I...
Yeah that's all I want, too. Hopefully someone with some free time will dig around and see if there's a connector in the area and all we'll have to do is poke a hole and connect to it.
Love the Area 51. I was split between A51 and Cyber Orange but my wife wanted A51 and I'm glad I listened. Cyber Orange in person just looks like a school bus.
I'm really wanting some on-vehicle door bags. We drive to my in-law's house an hour away. I want to take the doors off when I get...
Yes. I'm in the same boat. Thought I'd just get the door bags from the accessory catalog, but found out too late those are only "garage storage" bags (ie no strap for on vehicle storage. unclear if the actual bags are different). There's a couple threads on the forum about it, but no one has...
That's part of the "on vehicle storage" bag package that so far is only available at order time. I believe these are also different bags than the "garage storage" bags on the accessory page that come without a strap.
Didn't realize that was the box for the electric assembly. Thought it was the label on the hitch. We'll see about the bolts, the website doesn't say, but every other Curt hitch I've bought has come with the appropriate bolts. Looking at the picture of the Curt and the OEM the mount plates is...
Something I've been wondering as I drive around with my doors off: do the side curtain airbags still activate without doors?
My assumption is yes or else the dash would have another warning message. Ford seems to like throwing those up for everything: door not detected, seatbelt not buckled...
I ordered one. $111 and free shipping not going to be matched by any Ford OEM hitch. I've had Curt hitches on my Outback and 2 minivans. Always been nice and stealthy. Made in USA as opposed to Macedonia (see on pics in post #1). Only thing it looks like you are giving up is the built in bracket...
