I put a MOLLE bottle holder on the front seat back. Doesn't work for little drive thru soda cups but does work for kids water bottles. The same item sold under many different brands on Amazon.
Based on this thread I bought a $10 set of Torx Plus bits from Amazon and T+40 is too big! T+40 does not fit. T40 fits but has some wiggle room. Maybe it's a T+39 or a T41, haha!
Here's the best I could do with my cell phone (T+40 on the left, bronco bolt, T40 on the right)
Dang sorry I missed this thread. Like BlueBronco I have a soft top that I can offer up if you decide you need one more after his. It's a 4 door Black Diamond with 7 MT in Area 51
Seriously. The wiring is a hot mess. I would have ordered the factory tow package but I didn't want to delay my Bronco. I think my lack of options was the only reason I was the second delivery for my dealer despite being their 103rd order.
I'm waiting for a harness solution from etrailer.com or other such site. I'm also following along with this thread where @flip might be making a kit. I'm sure one of those will come through with a 4 pin harness for less than the $110 Ford one.
When I do get it I'm going to keep the harness...
I got a $10 spray can of tire shine from Autozone. It does make it super sticky though. I brushed against it putting the soft top panels back on and totally ruined a shirt with some permanent black residue.
I think/hope there are other tire shines that don't make it so sticky.
That's news to me. I'd always heard Class II = 1.25" and Class III = 2"
Curt's website has just left me even more confused. https://www.curtmfg.com/types-trailer-hitches#HitchClasses
They say:
Class II = 1.25" and up to 3500 lb capacity and 350 lb tongue weight.
Class III = 2" and up to 8000...
We'll see when Flip's kit starts shipping! My plan (eventually) is to leave the wires for the 4 pin long and have them routed to the storage under the back cargo lid. Then when I need to use it I just unroll it out and shut the tail gate on it. That's how I've done it for my Outback and...
When I ordered August 21st it was showing it would be here 5 days later. Then I got the actual shipping confirmation September 13th. It still took 4 days to go from the south end of Dallas to the north end. I think shipping everywhere is taking longer than usual, probably going to be a mess...
It doesn't say on their website, but it's a Class III, which is 2" receiver. Class II is 1.25" receiver.

Happy to follow up that I got the Curt Hitch yesterday and put it in. Only takes a few minutes. 100% worth paying 1/3 the OEM hitch price. Pics in thread: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/curt-hitch-installed.23720/
Got the Curt Hitch delivered yesterday. Ordered through RealTruck.com link found here on the forum for $111 ($120 including tax).
Someone on the forum had asked if it came with the mounting bolts, it does.
Not a lot of clearance so you have to get the nut on before pushing the bolt all the...
