I have the same thing. It is an intermittent issue for me as well. I have just learned to tolerate it. I been lazy and not tried to discuss the issue with DV8. Keep us posted.
Tbruz, it seems to me you are doing all the right research. It will come down to do you accept the risk. There is no free lunch. If you can afford the risk...the jump. But if deep down you have doubts...RUN LIKE HECK!!!!
I am kinda wondering if you get the transfer case into neutral....then just disconnect the entire wiring harness from the transfer case. Then you eliminate any stray signal from reengaging it. I am saying this because if the transfer case engagement is the central issue then with it not...

I have the Thinkware...it works great...i also wired the extrabattery thing you can get and put it under drivers seat. Also got the motion detection thing to make the thing last longer...in case...

I think the problem with getting an official answer is liability. No one wants to have record of saying it will work when something goes wrong. I have same issue with DV8 front bumper.
You can sure as heck pull your rig out of a mud hole but NO we are not saying you can use that shackle point...
You should go to your local ford dealer (that you like) and see if you get one for free with their Logo...etc. Advertising them.

Do you all recommend moving any of the + connected leads off the factory bus setup to the dual system? I am asking without looking at my factory setup first....so this could be a dumb question. But I am lazy and don't want to walk to the garage. :angel:
