I went with the DV8 mainly because I have DV8 front bumper. I like the strength and build quality. I painted the honeycomb imagery’s blue. It is beefy and took 2 people to install.
I went full PPF. The lines on the Bronco are complicated so things like the mirrors and underside of the grille (which is behind my bumper/winch) were not done or done with some minimal strips. I love the PPF. Easy to clean and looks great.
It is a time consuming process to get it right...
I think it is just a feeling of more safe than no door at all. It honestly looks good from an appearance standpoint. My wife would vote for them versus no door. I think I would go with the tube doors. It provides some motivation to not put your feet out of the vehicle....which seems safer.
