First model year cars I purchased brand new:
1970 SS 396 Chevelle - awesome, no problems
1978 Bronco - awesome, no problems

Looking at all of the interior photos showing the MIC top, I suspect this vehicle will be a real rattle trap. I've owned plenty of vehicles with removable hardtops; they all squeaked and rattled big time. Actually worse than a true canvas convertible top. I cannot explain why this is not...
Despite all of the ups and downs surrounding this launch, the Bronco is the only vehicle I feel passionate about. I'm hoping Ford fixes their supplier issue so that the black painted top doesn't put me at the back of the bus.
Nice to see ford is finally making an attempt to fix the B&P. I don't know about you but I am growing weary of seeing photos of pre-production Broncos having features/colors/ etc. that neither bear semblance to what I want nor are they available for production. Since the build sequence is...
The Land Rover build and price portal is fun to work with (Ford please take note) Makes the Bronco B&P look amateurish. If the reliability ratings were not so dreadful, I'd be interested.
I'm still going with OBX. We found out today in another thread that waiting to order until mid-March will not effect your build date because it is based on your reservation date, not the order date. This gives Ford much needed time to fix the obvious glitches throughout the Build & Price...
Like black, it will look awesome when clean and shiny; awful when dusty or dirty. Wouldn't stop me from getting either black or AMB because I clean and shine my vehicles weekly; easy to do in Arizona climate. I've had at least one black vehicle in my garage for over 20 years.
The MIC top doesn't look as bad as I feared on the Oxford white. Can we trust that this is the actual production color of the MIC top? I've seen so many photos of pre-production Broncos having colors and features not available for opening orders, i simply don't know what to believe anymore.
165,000 reservations at average price selling price to dealers of $30,000+ or - = $5 billion. Total Ford sales revenue in 2019 = $156 billion. This is an embarrassing launch but not a financial disaster for Ford. Wouldn't want to be the CFO explaining quarterly projections to the financial...
