I agree that the shifter knob looks sweet. It is not shown in the bronco accessories catalog yet.

I received an email from Ford yesterday that I did not expect. My original build week was that of June 28. Yesterday Ford moved my build date up by one week to that of June 21. My order is a very basic white OBX, 2.3, leather, MIC top.

Thanks for the video. I'm pleased with how both the wheels and the leather interior look on the Outer Banks.

I hope Ford is transparent in terms of how this might impact Bronco delivery dates. I assume the Bronco requires the same chips that other modern trucks and cars require. There have been many announcements of production delays by other manufacturers.

I wouldn't worry about your dealer knowing less about the Bronco than you do. I clarified a number of questions thay had about how the reservation and ordering process worked. I sent them a number of posts from this forum and suggested that their Bronco team follow this site closely to learn...

I recommend you stick with the factory tires for your intended use. I'd also get the hard top with sound deadening to make your highway use more enjoyable. Wife and I are doing the exact same thing with our Outer Banks.

I do not see how it is rational to order until the last day or last week of the ordering window which ends in March. We have been told that the order date, so long as it is in the Jan-Mar window, does not impact the build date. I'm holding out as long as I can so that I can see some hoped for...

Electronics, I had to drive the car with a data acquisition device hooked up to the dash until they figured out why there was intermittent power loss. After it was fixed, it ran strong. I eventually flipped the car purchased a second one identical to the first. No problems on the second one.
