Me too... I think next week will be the scheduling avalanche. With MAP reportedly going full steam ahead with Saturdays starting soon, think there will be a lot of happy 6G'rs
Couple iterations based on the original pic and some other ideas:
Use old school font style and spell Badlands in the same location as stock badge and then remove large Badlands from original design and make the horizontal stripe the same thickness as the the 3 angle stripes
Reduce the size of...
I did a similar thing with my '07 Mustang GT and bought old school GT badges and just used automotive adhesive... can't remember what brand as this was YEARS ago.
Worked out perfect and no harm no foul to the paint... but yet again, I never removed them.
As long as the issues stick to the hard top... which to me is like an accessory... and NOT the actual mechanics of the vehicle I am fine as you can always swap tops when available.
If there were more issues with say the drivetrain... engine... etc... then I would be worried... but I am not...
Apologize for the lengthy post... thank you in advance for those who stuck it out reading it!
I got my first opportunity to sit and drive a Bronco last night. My dealer got their demo last week and I was able to spend an hour with it. I did not discover anything new that hasn't already been...
EDIT: Starting at 20:22 when he goes into his chimes rant he says with doors off when you start it up he had notifications and the emergency brake on... but then later says no issue like that with doors on.
Looks like the exact model and color of the demo at my Dealer here in SE Michigan... wonder if that is it? ;)
I need to figure out when I am going in to test drive... so please don't crack it up before I do! :)
Thanks for providing you input... I noticed the step in the back in one of your pics... do you use that for the dogs... so they can easily get in and out?
Dogs... what kind of dogs do you have and how easy is it for them to get in and out?
I will be going from a Flex to a Badlands and wondering if I need to get side steps for the pooches or a step to carry.
Complicated is the true answer... Dealers are NOT acting on behalf of Ford... they are acting on behalf of themselves.
Dealers rely on Ford and Ford relies on Dealers. Dealers are independent business able to do what they want with their business. Unfortunately Ford doesn't have the pull to...
Thanks for the pics and video... definitely helps "ease my worries". I have a BL w/MGV on order. I always felt electric went lower than manual, but MGV was a top priority for us.
I am 6'5" and seat height with manual seats are always an issue for me as I feel electric seats always seem to go...
I am liking the tonneau cover for the cargo area... now if a panel for the back seat comes available, I think you could use the combination to run without the back clamshell on?
Also would like to see a hard shell cargo cover?
whether factory delivered or museum delivered... doesn’t matter... it’s not Dealrer delivered. How does GM legally circumvent someone not taking delivery at a dealership?
Someone needs to run it up the flagpole to Farley? Or Estiban?
