Went to standard Bronco page from Ford.com and notice some new pics throughout... also functionality to show standard Lux without doors and without roof, which wasn’t there before.
Also noticed this pic of an Iconic Silver Badlands... notice the roof... it is also Iconic Silver... think this...
totally understand the believe it when I see it, but the rep who mentioned it was one of the two there who had deeper knowledge. Probably works on bronco program and not from a marketing firm there just to coral people.
It’s a nice color. Definitely some green/blue hues. It was bright and sunny and even light when I was there so it was pretty light colored. It is an intriguing color!
when asked we were in front of the “20-Footer” no engine CG 4 door with white hard top... my belief is when asked he understood it to be an option across the line on all colors.
Unfortunately we could not sit in them due to COVID. Doors were open and we could look in.
But looking at published specs... I’m not too worried as they are similar to the Flex I am currently driving. I’m more interested in headroom. The Flex is about the only vehicle I don’t have to worry...
When I asked about the plugs he basically said, "Starting with the Outerbanks trim, the plugs will be there, just under the carpet... so if you pull back the carpet the plugs will be there."
I am very curious to see the execution of that because I may switch from Badlands to Outerbanks and...
****UPDATE****
So after attending here is my recap...
Vehicles on display: 2 Bronco Sport Badlands (one Rapid Red and one Cyber Orange), the Catcus Gray 4 door Bronco "20 footer", a black 2 Door Badlands trail equipped concept from earlier event, and the Rapid Red Outbanks 4 door fishing...
No clear update on Build and Price go live... got the "soon" answer... and even some other asking around gave conflicting responses... I have heard every month from now until December.
makes sense on the textured finish and sticking. I think one of the Broncos at the event I’m going to tomorrow has the MIC top, so should be able to get a good look at the texture. May need to ask if they know if wrap would work on it.
Anyone have experience using/applying 3M vinyl accents/accessories?
Was thinking if the “White Out” package isn’t available, that maybe could accomplish some of it using 3M vinyl.
I mean people wrap their cars so why not for the hardtop? Then maybe save a little $ and not get black painted...
It's in Dearborn... I'll be there tomorrow... just not sure how "top secret" the finer details of location is... but imagine it wouldn't be hard to find it if you drive around the campus.
Would love to recreate this with my order... unfortunately Antimatter Blue is a hard no from my other half :(
But I do have a few months of convincing to do? Maybe this pic will sway the decision?
Basically a road show to give employees an opportunity to see the Broncos. They have done this many times in the past... multiple days... limited attendees... "raffle" style selection... happening in Dearborn.
I saw some where on another thread here a few weeks back that mentioned the Bronco can be flat towed... I think Levine mentioned it and also the thread had a link to an article officially mentioning it.
Sorry to burst your bubble... but I am not a marketing employee trying to subterfuge the forum, but rather an IT employee who reserved a Badlands, got totally sucked in and cannot wait to give up my money for my new ride. ?‍♂️
Ha ha ha!!! No worries! I knew this would happen.
I owned a 2007 Mustang GT and was active in other forums and had/have "the fever" so I completely understand!
Thanks for the question ideas... I doubt I will get to ask all of them... but will try my best! We will only have 30 minutes... just hope they have a enough "knowledgeable" folks there to get some answers on the more technical stuff, but not holding my breath.
