115 pound Shepard mix, doesn't use the steps at all. I also have a hammock type seat cover so he needs to get up to seat height to get in. So I have a folding ramp I use. He's also 12 and I prefer to save his joints from jumping in and out.
I wonder about this in the back of my mind. When I was getting my first car in 2004-5, I wanted the new 05 Mustang bad....I loved the retro vibe it had compared to the previous generations. I just couldn't afford it as a first car, so I got a stripped down regular cab Tacoma that I drove for the...
That sucks, I'm happy mines at least driveable. After the initial "ahhh #*%$&% moment", I chilled out, accidents happen and it can be repaired.
Then the Dad calls and says don't file insurance claim... "I got a guy...."
The F you do...
Then 20 minutes later I get the mom with a sob story...
It started with a trip to the local Home Depot with the misses and we made it about 2 miles before.... A 16yo made an unprotected left across traffic and zeroed in on my baby 😭
The Rockslide steps took it like a champ and probably prevented more body damage. Hard to see but bumper is pulled...
Reading this I set myself up to get reamed by the man with short shorts in the brown truck.... But it was very reasonable considering it's kind of a bulky item.
For giggles I just measured how high my alternator sits on my 2.3l Badlands with 33s and it's right at 31-32 inches. So I'm pretty the max fording height is set by the alternator height, which is just over the top of the bumper...
So what I gather from this is people exceed max manufacturing...
Temp change from different regions shouldn't be that significant in regards to pressure. I've never left my area and and averaging around 16.8 mpg in my normal driving. Normally I'm mid to high 18s, tires are all 38 psi.
My vote is higher ethanol blend.
Ooof those that know about the Santa Ana winds in Southern CA know we can see sustained winds averaging 40mph and gusts exceeding 80 mph. Hopefully this is an isolated incident with that tempered glass just being extra temperamental. I don't want to have to check wind direction when I park.
Someone forgot to tell Uncle Sam about that. Every (wheeled) vehicle I've been in has a "Hearing Protection Required" sticker on that dash instead.
Your hearing loss is not service connected.
I *might* part with it if I could get a Bandlands like package on a Ranger with the 7 speed, but I think I have a better chance to win the lottery first. A truck just better suits my needs than an SUV.
That sucks, I got lucky when I took a bolt on the freeway a few months ago. That sucker traveled about 100 yards from the truck that kicked it up and it had to be 2-3" cause it looked HUGE the moment before impact. Luckily it hit the frame 2 inches above the glass, but man it sounded like...
Lube is even faster. A q-tip dab on all the locating pins last December and haven't heard a peep since. Don't even need to remove the panels, just unclip them, pop them up just enough for the locating pins to clear their hole, dab lube, and done.
I used super lube, cause I have it and it's clear.

I re-enable recently and between the unreliable push notifications and the 20-30 min on avg delay it's not a viable option. Just today it decided to push "my driver door has been opened" 30-40 minutes after I went inside with the current time for the event. So I thought someone was...
Didn't Ford replace that other 10 mile burnt up clutch/transmission under warranty? The one they got so hot they blued the input shaft.... But that wasn't abuse...
