  1. Joined the Sag & Tilt Club (and Partially Solved)

OK, not entirely solved... I'm only measuring fender gaps instead of the official procedure which I posted here in its own thread. Given the stiffness of the fenders, it should be a reasonable proxy. Unfortunately, it seems my truck still has a consistent passenger side lean of about 1/2"...
  2. Are MT Baja Boss AT noticeably sluggish on a Braptor?

Yes, of course, typo and corrected. I check on the tire, not ground.
  3. Are MT Baja Boss AT noticeably sluggish on a Braptor?

Cover a few knobs fire/aft thoroughly with sidewalk chalk. Roll vehicle very slowly over smooth/flat concrete or asphalt for 100' or so. If more dense chalk remains in the center of the tire you are under inflated, more dense on edges over inflated. Lather, rinse, repeat. Very accurate...
  4. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

To be clear, input appreciated and ZERO insult heard/assumed!
  5. Are MT Baja Boss AT noticeably sluggish on a Braptor?

I didn't measure their diameters nor radii, but I did chalk test both. Low 30s in the K02s vs. mid 20s for the higher load rated MTs reflect the stiffer MTs. I knew they would be lower but wasn't expecting that low.
  6. Are MT Baja Boss AT noticeably sluggish on a Braptor?

I weighed my factory stock 37 K02s between 70 and 73 lb with a very accurate scale. My MTBBs weighed right on spec at 80 lb. I don't feel any difference and you can't either. This, accounting for the doubling effect of rotating mass, is the some as having a 56-80 lb kid riding in your ~6000 lb...
  7. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

GIGO was more as to ethanol levels and reserve tank volumes (and octane if not using my App on the current fill). Those can easily be in error, significantly. I'm still not even close to turning a profit. I did all the R&D and prototyping (not paying myself obviously) then I just paid a young...
  8. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

If you want the most accuracy and flexibility ALL of the inputs are required and nothing is left out. Nog sure what you're asking here but I am think I answered it immediately above anyway. Garbage in, garbage out. Any error in any input will translate to an error in the results. For EtOH...
  9. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

Remember to note/memorize any current blend (octane and %EtOH) as the input for what's in your tank for the next blend. Also note that % full should be calculated based on the tank volume plus the reserve. For example, if your tank capacity is 9 gal. and indicates empty after consuming 9 gal...
  10. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

Absolutely. But subsidies affect so many things including food staples. I don't know if there is any calculated or observed limit nor sweet spot. That said I doubt your FP tune will adjust much beyond 93 octane and that's going to be over E10 on 87-91 pump. I'd probably shoot for 94 octane...
  11. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

Thanks, appreciated. Pump gasoline in the US, unless specifically labeled at ethanol free is E10 (10% ethanol). In most areas ethanol free is quite rare and is provided for things like very old lawn mowers, old cars and boats which may have non ethanol compatible seals/plastics - see my post...
  12. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

Absolutely, ethanol has lower energy density and exhibits worse mpg. But, here is the kicker... It's less expensive and now much less so. That's primarily why I posted. Before the recent price hike in gasoline. My experience showed that my cost per mile (not mpg) was very close to a wash with...
  13. Want to play in the dunes?

Strongly suggest an eventual trip to the famous Glamis Dunes. Get your tires at 12-15 psi and let her rip. It's amazingly fun.
  14. Has anyone installed PowerStop brakes on their Braptor?

My upgrades noted above were very reasonably priced.
  15. Looking For: Bronco Raptor OE Front Coil Springs (SoCal)

Not much help but loosely related. I'm strongly considering replacing my factory front springs to match my rear Hyperco HDs. I can post back if/when I do.
  16. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

For the sake of a balanced view here, I have done some additional research on the topic of ethanol safety in a non Flex Fuel vehicle. This is not my personal experience, but simply the result of research. I certainly welcome any clarifications/corrections/additions. There is no Flex Fuel...
  17. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

E85 Stations App from Play Store.
  18. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

This is highly contrary to the large fleet of E85 Flex Fuel vehicles on the market today. Surely none of them have this problem.
  19. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

I've been pondering that. It would be very easy to add. But for a given octane goal it is always lower cost to blend with a lower octane base. What would be really cool is to input your mpg (or attempt to calculate it) of different blends and optimize for $/mi, not mpg.
  20. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

OK, I have misspoke. The app can not handle race fuels above 99 octane. It needs many non linear lookup curves (not tables, they are actual look up equations). The only real substitution is a simple hand calculation using volume weighted octane blending. This should be reasonably accurate since...
