  1. SAS stock Bilsteins replace stock base Bronco shocks

The spring rates vary by two and four door, 2.3 or 2.7, AT or MT, tow package, weight (bumpers, skid plates, etc.) so you might get lucky or close enough, or you m ight want new springs. I ended up getting a deal on 5100's NIB that reused my springs. Great improvement off-road and on.
  2. Engine block heater recall (2021-2024 Bronco)

Q1 2026 kind of sucks...no block heater this winter. If I need to go to Manitoba this winter it will cross into the "really sucks" realm.
  3. How to: Recalibrate Speedometer with Forscan for 2021 Bronco

It seems the digital speedometer will always read 1 mph low when calibrated correctly as it persists across the whole range of speeds.
  4. 2026 Bronco Order Guide (changes & updates)

I really want a 2-door manual. But it won't work as a primary vehicle. I'll be filled to the brim teaching a K9 seminar next week -- 2 people, one dog, equipment, luggage, etc. However, I did pick up a nice unmolested 11 year old 2 door MT JK Rubicon for my daughter to drive. She's looking...
  5. Manual Transmission gringing / making clunking noise going from 1-2.

If after driving another manual yours still seems wrong, you could have an improperly bled clutch circuit, a bad clutch master cylinder, or a bad slave cylinder.
  6. GMRS radio to have in MOAB ?

I have the KG905 Plus. It is cheaper and of excellent quality at the cost of features most people (including me) will never use. The quality rivals my Yaesu HTI also have a pair of cheap Midlands. The Wouxun is far sturdier, has better transmit and receive, is waterproof and has better battery...
  7. Check brakes alert

Had this happen on my 2.3. Easy fix, expensive part not covered under ESP. The hard pedal will show up eventually. I think the problem is in the check valves; I believe they are open under vacuum, closed under boost. If you go to apply the brakes at just the right time you will have no vacuum...
  8. Show off your HAM or GMRS setup

Yaesu FTM-6000 (Radio above glovebox, control head on a Lido/Proclip USA mount, mic on a MagicMic magnet) & a Rugged Radios GMRS (with their mounting kit). Thinking about an HF setup but I realize that would take me 60% of the way to an M210.
  9. Did I screw up??...new size wheel/tire and off-set on OBX for winter tires...

Less offset on your wheels will increase stress on wheel bearings, etc. as there will be a larger moment to counter. Is it enough to worry about? You'd need to do some calculations. Additional wear? If you run them you will find out. If you ordered five, remember these are directional tires, so...
  10. What accessory goes between the antenna and side mirror

If you can attach your own PL259's it will be easier to route the cables through the firewall and you won't need to loop cable. Also, if you can solder your own NMO's you can save a bunch by just getting the components from Ham Radio Outlet versus buying them from Midland, etc.
  11. What accessory goes between the antenna and side mirror

Yes. Using this on the passenger side for a GMRS antenna on an NMO mount: https://mountains2metal.com/BR6LAPAM/ And this on the driver side for a Comet 2X4 dual band antenna on an NMO mount: https://www.ruggedradios.com/products/antenna-mount-for-new-ford-bronco-driver-side-view-mirror
  12. HELP!! Upfitter switch wire capacity- Fire Danger??

Not that I look in detail, those are horrible! Edit: No strain relief either.
  13. HELP!! Upfitter switch wire capacity- Fire Danger??

Crimp a high quality ring terminal to the wire before attaching it to a screw terminal and all is well (as long as the screw terminal is of good design and quality). SOP for MS switches in aircraft.
  14. Whats the optimal upgrade option for wheels for Bronco BASE?

IMO with 4.46 and the MT, 32's yield a first gear a tad short, and 33's a sixth gear a tad too tall, so 32"-33" is optimal.
  15. Baja Designs DOT LP6 (Street Legal Headlight Replacement) OUT NOW!!!!

Don't forget headlight heaters...I know it has to be an issue in Manitoba if it's an issue in Wisconsin. (I go to Winkler for work a couple times per year.)
  16. My 2025 Bronco Outer Banks caught on fire - burned down to shell (updated with photos)

Not as badly as a fire :) but Halotron is the best option.
  17. Today, Ford Performance becomes FORD RACING (again)

I'll up that and say go back to "SVO" but I'll settle for "SVT". "Ford Racing" is lame.
  18. Failed Clutch Return Stop

Trimmed up my stop today to get the clutch pedal sitting really close to those pictures you all sent. (Thank you again.) Tomorrow I am going to try to finish up my work early, then pull back the cylinder boot and see how that thing serves as a stop. Then, make an appointment to get it replaced...
  19. Failed Clutch Return Stop

Thank you. I need to trim my stop then, probably an eighth of an inch.
