I've actually never heard of that with the white foam before, but I've added it to my list of things to look for. Now that I think about it, my oil temperature was fine if I recall correctly. I originally thought maybe the issue was something with a pressure sensor

Quite a few people have mentioned the slight coolant in oil. I usually buy the oil from Walmart and it's clean. So no issues buying there

I'm usually pretty good about logging any service work that I do to my cars. I dont have anything to hide from them other than not wanting to spend 12k on an engine replacement if I can avoid it

It would be nice to have that and be done, I did ask about flushing the lubrication system if thats even a thing or an option instead of a whole damn engine.

So a little update since I called the dealer...according to the service advisor, the technician did a test with the VCT system and found it not working properly. She also told me that their stance on if it would be under warranty is that it wouldn't because of the oil I used. Or me doing the oil...

No I didn't. I don't know if the service tech did either but they will do a multipoint inspection

They told me the service manager is gonna look into a UOA

The only thing I've gotten so far is that coolant in oil looks like a milkshake, which I can confirm since my camaro had that years ago before my dad and I rebuilt the motor. I guess they doubt other possibilities because it's a new car
