My local service in/out is directly by the front lot displays, literally 10 feet away the rows start 🙂 And where I bought mine, same deal but 20 feet over are 3 raptors lined up...
The big question: why didn't you go find a bronco on the lot before bothering a customer and their private vehicle?
From the reactions all around it sounds like a case of misaligned personal boundaries and not something nefarious.
Were it out in the wild it would not have been startling to ask...
My old 4.6L mustang convertible with FRPP suspension, I'm no speed demon but I sure did love how that thing handled 👏 new 2dr OBX I got because it's 100% not like any car I've ever had, having a blast just driving around 😀
I was promised first notification when a specific order arrived, and another was in the process of getting the paperwork sent to them to purchase when Nick Mayer sold the HE out from under both of us when some random walk-in and was given it.
Nick Mayer West in OH - don't trust them.
Did see my first 2dr HE black at the grocery store, super paranoid driver parked as far into the empty spots as possible 🤑 Also saw a 4dr SAS, which makes for a new world record of 3 Broncos seen together, if you include mine. I guess that they're coming out of hibernation for spring.
My deal tried to offer a local "dealer group" owned by the same people at the top, could only get repaired under that at one of their lots. Didn't mention that until I asked if it was a ford plan, of course.
4 Fords, 2 Chevy, and a smaller BMW or two since 1980 and none have had locking gas doors.
My motorcycle had a locking gas door, and that was mostly to mechanically keep it strongly shut in case of accident...
