The manual is clear about not taking the Bronco through an automatic car wash. Driving through areas impacted by hurricane Henri clearly falls in this category.
Before I jump in on this, my only goal in this conversation is better understand what Ford has already offered.
That’s what I was thinking. Someone else mentioned “most of us,” but that doesn’t seem to be the case. As a Badlands MIC reservation w/ VIN, I did not get the email above, likely...
That’s what I was thinking, not most of us. I think those Ford communications do not include those details, making it sound like “look what we’re doing for you” for these delays.
Do we? Most of us? I hope. Please explain. I’m a night 1 MIC reservation. Ford recently keeps saying 1,100 in Ford points, but I thought 1,000 of that was for those who switched from painted mod top to MIC. I’d love to get these points, so crossing my fingers.
I think I’m Group 3. VIN, not built, 3rd build date before the MIC replacement news. So if it shows up at the dealership January 1, is it still a 2021? I think a lot of people are going to be upset getting a 2021 delivered in 2022.
I read “customer satisfaction program” in this document a few times. Aside from delivering a hopefully quality top that should happen anyways, @Ford Motor Company what customer satisfaction efforts is Ford making for the increased MIC delays? It’s no longer Spring delivery and the $1,000 of the...
@Nickp Can you clarify the “groups” that were mentioned in the livestream? For example, my Bronco/MIC build date has moved 3 times, what group does that put me in and what do those groups mean?
Did you see all the dust/material particles falling from the headliner? I’ve seen several reports on that. I’m not sure our sinus and lungs are meant to breathe that.
I passed a truckload of Corvettes on Saturday. They are transported with simple car covers; nothing too nice, just a simple cover to protect them during transport. That would be nice for the Bronco. Many of our Broncos are just as $$$.
So 8+ weeks off the original build date, nice... No excuses to not have worked out the reported issues, otherwise Ford is sending these out with significant delays knowing they have quality issues. Exhausting...
So this must mean we get perfected MIC tops, painted door hinges, no roof rattle, no whistle, no goat mode or engine errors, and no soft top or door paint rubs. I’d be OK a with that for pushing out, but Ford better make sure.
