Thank you for this graphic. This is really important info. That’s why I ask these questions. It seems like even adding a bar to the bumper technically might block the airflow as well, but hopefully not as much.

Anyone have a light bar installed inside the bottom grill opening? Will this work, any sensors, etc there? Light bar recommendations?

no, greenlaneoffroad. That pic is the 4”, but they have 4, 9, 13” I’m also looking for one like the one on the prototype Bronco; idk that 4” looks pretty spot on. Not sure how I feel about it showing in the trail cam.

This is the 4” from the link I posted above. The manufacturer says it is visible on the trail cam at the bottom of the screen. Adding a light bar increases that; I’d love to see some photos of how it appears in the screen with a light bar.

This zroadz bar is similar, but sits a little closer to the bumper. You can order it with or without lights...

I’ve had mine about a week. Husky only sent me the back; still waiting for the front! 😩 I’ll check the nubs tomorrow and report back.

@Diode Dynamics For the reverse lights, do you have bumper brackets to attach the pods for the SSC1 and SSC2?

@hollapm what’s the advantage of mounting the pod lights at the spare tire vs. under the bumper? Does it just light the area better being positioned higher?

There is a canvas bimini also that Ford originally advertised. Not sure if it ever came to production. Canvas might help, but I think there may be rain runoff on the edges.

Where do you see that? I don’t see it in the menu, cart selection or pictures.

This Playmate has been working well for me. I’ve had it about 3yrs; I had to get a Bronco to match.

Any know the purpose of the highlighted openings, e.g., does it need to stay clear for air? I’ve been wondering if you could put lights here and then saw this Raptor inspiration.
