Nostalgia, I owned a black ext cab ranger splash ack in the 90's for a while. 4L V6 5spd, was a nice driving truck. Peeled off the graphics to get a nice monochrome look.
OP will e fine if there is a halfway decent mic 2.0 launch. Ford would not pull the ripcord on MIC 1.0 without a solid probability that 2.0 would be deliverable in good volume (if not full volume) to close out the 21 builds already scheduled.
I think you will be wrong, and all of us will...
Or just new springs? That would keep the suspension limits/angles the same (controlled by the shocks) . Thats what I would wait for, the sas/bl shocks are really good units for oem.
I'm been rescheduled to the 9/20 week, 2dr Badlands. Also seeing some FE's getting scheduled to 9/20 and 9/27 today, I hope the MIC 2.0's are truly ready to build when the time comes.
I sold my f350 daily driver and ordered a new superduty in July. Pretty sure it will arrive before the bronco now, scheduled for 8/30 build week.
Lots of the same worries on the ford SD forums, but the flow of fresh builds is ramping up. They are limiting stock orders and no word on...
The main dimension you need to keep in mind when wheel shopping is the offset. The range that will stay mostly under the stock flares will be +18 to +55 (factory). As an example, +30 offset sas wheels have a bit of tire sidewall poking out from under the small flares. Don't go with any...
Hope that works out for you, I have been thinking of changing mine -adding SAS mainly. Right now the scheduled VINs have crappy build dates anyway, I wonder if it would really change much. You should be able to kill the order and VIN if it hasn't been built yet, especially if it is months out...
Based on the info released 2dr hardtop production should start rolling decently after Nov/Dec cleanup of the FEs and bad batches. So Q1/Q2 should be expected for early reservations if the start producing good tops at volume to support the 500+/day mix. There is just not that many 2dr orders...
I sold my daily (truck) in mid July, when I had an July build date. Had a backup car to use, then its AC comopressor locked up, and was out of commission for a week+. I do have an 11yr old italian motorcylce to use in case of emergency, but its been deep in the 90's here so I chose not to sit...
Are you able to see your window sticker? (you can use the b6g tracker to try and get it) If it is available, it has more details about the blend date which shows when the build starts.
