Now the next steps in watching / tracking are:
- AsBuilt modules populating - these can happen on blend date to +2 days after https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt
- Built Email - indicates build and mods are completed and its ready for shipment - 1-2 days after blend date (non dirt...
On my truck order it was 1-2 days. It lags the physical build by about a day. Also if you have accessories to be I installed in the mod shop like roof rack, it may add another day.
That sucks to hear the latest news. If anything the Oct/Nov build dates should hold steady as they close out the remaining '21 VINs. Some of the existing Sep builds seem to be sticking and building now. We are all pulling for you both.
The 4 digit # is the rotation number, that is actually the physical sequence # for that day or week - there is some explanation early in th e6/30 thread. Mine is 7458 on 10/1, so almost 1000 after 6355 the sticker in the post above on 9/29.
Mine did the same flip flop this morning, order processing to in-prod to order processing.
I found a a web site watcher tool that I have checking the Ford tracker and window sticker pages hourly and it alerted me to the change .
My F450 order was the same way, never showed in ford.com in my account, but the ford tracker, emails all worked normally. Be sure your dealer submitted the COVP order verification with a copy of your drivers license. I Ordered on 7/12, was scheduled the next week for 8/30. Built and shipped...
Same here, dealer checked end of last week. I'll keep checking the trackers fanatically, trying not to panic. On my superduty order it was around 5-7 days before the build day that tracker status went to in production, and the window sticker popped. Made me nervous because the build day was...
Per dealer my 9/20 got pushed to week of 9/27, day of 9/27. Waiting for that wndow sticker to pop next week and make it real.
fwiw my '22 superduty ordered on 7/12/21 has already shipped and should be here next week, even with the chip shortage.
The trail grapplers look good, but are pretty old tech (had them on my '08 superduty!), and noisy/rumbly compared to the ridge grappler and k02. RG has the same sidewall, but a much smoother running tread pattern.
