My top hasnāt been up in 2 months. If itās not rainy I drive the bronco, otherwise the Silverado. 54 this morning and heated seats. 75 by mid day and glorious. It depends how one intends to interact with this drop top hotness.
Sky active one touch with removable side windows. Itās all that will open my checkbook to switch out my softie. I will say this in every Bronco aftermarket hardtop thread. It breaks down and can be shipped small.
Thats great! With the Ranger using the same hub, I'm glad the market is catching up. These Methods were my first choice wheel but I refuse to use a hub adapter on my vehicles.
I had a BMW 6 series convertible that had hub rings and they turned out to be a royal pain in the...
Two times I was...
RTR does as well, but they are 9" wide. RTR's are also hub cut for the Ford bore so adapters are NOT required. I'm hoping to squeeze a 35" on when the 33's are worn out.
303 makes great products and they are well respected in the boating community for their protection. Our tops are pretty much boat canvas and glass. Not cheap but worth it.
I'm running a console vault. For the money, it will slow someone down, but it won't keep them out. I had a house broken into about 20 years ago. Kicked in a front window in broad daylight. Eventually got caught. Police did the fingerprint thing and eventually caught the perp. Cops no longer...
I've used a few RC parts on builds. Build quality is pretty good, the steel is heavy and the powder coating is good. It is a pretty solid value proposition for items that are flogged on and potentially disposable if using a shitty spotter.
I liked the shape of their step sliders and jumped in...
If it was in the previous 9 pages, I didn't see it. Is Forscan the necessary programmer to add the remote keypad security code? My understanding is remote start requires the 21-digit code to be entered as part of the process.
Even the best dealers showed some real crap if the inbound unit was somewhat of a hard to get build. From the stories here, the likelihood of shadiness goes up based on the rarity of the build allocation for the dealer. Assuming youāve got a mild build should be fairly straightforward...
This proves exactly how under-whelmed and unphased Ford is by the mid-cycle refresh of the Wrangler. I mean, it was daring to change their 7-slot grill to a new 7-slot grill in two tone, very edgy. The side curtains and the 12-inch display, manage to keep up. There were a few down-trim bonuses...
Just get a better tire in the same size. I've never had a set of Goodyears that the tread didn't turn out and get loud by 50%. The Continentals Terrain Contacts would be pretty quiet in that size. I really like my KO2's and I've also heard good things about the Nitto Recon Grapplers.
Tire Rack...
Have you done any decibel testing with your system? I'm willing to try another option to replace my FlowFX since it's too loud with a soft top.
Current stats on the FlowFX with softTop, Badlands wash-out floor, top and windows up, music off, and Ford OEM rubber Mats:
(Drivers seat using...
Go into it knowing they are there, but can be remedied with time and effort. I have yet to figure out the one above my head in the soft top frame and how to adjust something to get rid of it. A vehicle with this much flexibility, moving parts, removable parts, and hard plastics is gonna squeak...
Toyota/Lexus use the key fob door lock light beep of you step out with the keys. I jumped out of the Bronco in a parking lot and the dude backing out of the spot next to me slammed don't he brakes thinking he was backing into someone. It's just a bit over the top.
Me, begging aftermarket to make something that is far more modular, ships easier, lighter, and is clearly been market tested and adopted. Few people have the space to store a fixed hard-top clamshell. This has removable back windows and can be covered up in a passing rain shower...
My god the...
I was bummed I paid for a Badlands and still had to upgrade the wheels. š
Iām still rocking a stock B&O but the wheels took to the shed in the first month.
Yes, the B&O is underwhelming. Itās more the sub rattle that sucks the joy out of it.
Ford wanted dealers to build Bronco-specific retail space and some did take the bait. This was to create a subbrand for Bronco. I see Bronco gaining models, not losing them. They would be well served to reduce the complexity of the number of trims and offer more uniqueness. Harley Davidson...
