No Kidding, this is exactly why I chose the Badlands over the Outer Banks. I wanted the nicer trim on the Outer Banks and didn't need the full capability of the Badlands. It would have been an easy wheel tire upgrade on an Outer Banks for me. Cost-wise, they came in so close to each other with...
I added a hose bib to my garage because I am crazy about rinsing salt, and I live in the land of brined roads at the mere mention of snow. It's worth every penny when you get that salt-dense grey bulge hanging off the flaps rinsed before you put your ride away. I garage park, and that crap is...
As a former detailer, I've done this countless times on both cars and plastic boat windows. You must use plenty of water and good car soap with a very clean and frequently turned microfiber. Even if you don't plan to wash the entire car, you need to treat these windows as though you plan to wash...
The factory B&O is a dual coil and a very small lightweight speaker. I'd go so far as to call it a woofer and not even a full subwoofer. Each coil was 4 Ohms when I tested it. I doubt that MB works well off the wimpy factory B&O Amp.
I went 757 days and lots of others went much longer.
Face it, it’s a custom order vehicle and Not even possible with Toyota. Toyota says this it’s what’s in the port, take it or leave it.
Don’t give up, it will happen. It is not Amazon Prime
I get the wavy window comment, but it's only softies and seems to exaggerate if you prop the soft top up frequently. Mine so far after a year is not as bad as many I've seen, I consider that luck. Every Wrangler has wavy door sheet metal. I never understood why Jeep was never able to work this...
I am still surprised to see so much red on the constraints list...
I waited 757 days. After over a year with it, order exactly what you want with no regrets, and move on with your life. I flopped my order on tops a few times, hoping that a Mod top would eventually show up. It never did. I'm...
You are my hero!
After installing and removing a FlowFX, this was the review I needed to help move me toward a system that meets my objectives without risking it being another annoying, loud, raspy junk exhaust. I'm a soft top build, so I suspect that I may have just a touch more noise on the...
Im not trying to build a Ford Flex so If I can’t get a Modular top, I’m keeping the soft top for now. Open air is the only reason I bought the Bronco. I’ll check out the armadillo top.
I pinged SmartCap Evo a few times since they make break down for shipping caps on the Gladiator. I guess they...
Do you have a link for the Magnaflow Resonator you used? I may try this with the Flowmaster FlowFX I removed. Loved the look and even the sound most of the time, but at highway speeds with the soft top windows out, I needed hearing protection.
Adding a bit of extra context here. The Auto version uses a variable recovery speed based on the three LED's on the Auto Button. Push the button to change how fast or slow you want the cabin to meet the set point. One light is supposedly a slow fan and outputs to meet the desired temps. Mine...
This was heavily compounded by the resin market skyrocketing during COVID due to material shortage in conjunction with the hobbyist demand to make many absurd items to kill all the boredom. The resin market hasn’t rebounded and prices have not exactly come down.
Ford destroyed many early...
I want the function of the Jeep Skyactive one-touch roof in my Bronco.
I add this to every hard top thread (since the Modular top from Ford is now a pipe dream)
Someday, someone who makes custom tops will get this and build me one. I'll pony up $7k for a top with that function. They also...
please for the love all saints do the review. I’ve asked countless times for people to provide before and after sound numbers and all I ever get is “sounds good.”
Any iPhone or Apple Watch is capable
Of providing real sound data. I won’t sling another dollar at an exhaust until someone does a...
first don’t even worry about color, you can’t see these, they are tucked up tightly. Exhaust coatings suck anyway.
The stainless flowFX with black tips looked really good. Be warned, it’s freaking loud. The can is so small there is practically no baffling. My suggestion. Take the stock muffler...
