  1. Are 2023 Order Banks Still Open?

Maverick closed in 5 days. I suspect the Bronco will close at a similar time. There was definitely more clarity around dealer available allocation this go-round. Maybe Ford isn't repeating stack orders deep model and dealers are being choosy about who they enter since each one counts against...
  2. Does your Bronco have squeaks and rattles?

The Sub Rattle is by far the worst and most embarrassing when I have occupants. The Soft top squeak over my head is annoying and I sometimes drive with my hand on the soft top cross member to quiet it down. The tailgate is not as bad since I put the FlowFX on to drown it out. I'd hate to hear...
  3. TPMS Swap?

There is nothing special about most TPMS sensors. My Badlands ones moved right over to my RTR wheels. I've always had factory ones moved without issue on Toyota, BMW, and Acura. Use a reputable tire shop since if for some crazy chance you buy an exotic wheel that won't accept a factory Ford...
  4. Handgun safe for Bronco

These are amazing. Do these permanently mount to the seat in some way? I never adjust my head rest so If these lock in place, I totally dig this. If you can just pick them off using the height adjustment latch, hard pass.
  5. Handgun safe for Bronco

I have the console vault. It lives normally with the combination unlocked and the catch just turned to keep the spring-loaded lid closed. I don't think I've ever put a firearm there besides test fit. It needs a foam liner or holster catch to make it truly useful I really think the better place...
  6. In the name of science… go over 45 mph when hitting mud / water puddles

I can respect the hypothesis and mad science experiments to prove this theory. However, the crosswind variable upsets speed model testing. Can confirm that 25MPH with a 10-15MPH crosswind is no bueno, so I'll try 45 next time...
  7. Any dealers under msrp on orders

This mostly depends on the model being sought. If you are looking for anything with any sins at all, not a chance. Anyone with Price protection is scooping up at the MSRP from back when they ordered which is below the window sticker. Mine worked out to be $2650 below the window sticker that...
  8. Badlands SAS or Non-SAS ?

You have it backward. The non-Sas recommendation is +30, the SAS recommendation is 0. If you want to rock 35's later you can with the +30's but you will need to pull the crash bars. I've not seen a non-Sas unit running the 0 offsets, maybe someone here can post a photo. Just realize the...
  9. Upcoming Competition: 2025 Toyota 4Runner Hybrid is expected (and EV possible)

Toyota. If you are listening. PHEV, sky active one touch roof, wireless apple car play, 33+tires, towing 5k or more. That’s all the market research you need to win me back. I’ve had 5 toyota/lexus products. Still have a 2018 RX350L and My friends 2021 Mazda CX-9 is nicer. C’mon step it up. And...
  10. Badlands SAS or Non-SAS ?

I went non Sas and love it. I think it’s more the region you wheel in. If you are a pavement dweller then this is not even a question, skip it. The tires that come on the Sas package are rock launchers as well. I only light wheel here in rural Maryland. The Badlands is more than I need but it...
  11. Upcoming Competition: 2025 Toyota 4Runner Hybrid is expected (and EV possible)

I was one of those people for 757 days and then Ford blessed my beloved reservation on a dealer lot that didn’t screw me. In a way, It was fate. Cause any shenanigans and I’d be still hanging on to the 4Runner pipe dream.
  12. Towing a 'Big' Boat (for the Bronco)

That is a sweet rig. Looks like a good drop hitch selection and a good level setup. I'm shocked your state permits this trailer set up without brakes on at least one axle, and I sure as heck wouldn't run a non-braked overweight on a public road, just my $0.02. Maryland goes to brake...
  13. PSA if you use a pressure washer to clean your Bronco Raptor bumper.

since you need tips anyway. Go on the Amazon and get the foamer that comes with like 5 different sized tips for like $25. Like others, if it’s got mud on it, it’s gets a water pressure wash as the first step. I had a lot of sand after my last adventure, you don’t want to touch the paint until...
  14. RTR EVO 6 Wheels

Curious about what you decided to do on this. If you mounted them, I'd love to see pics. The +30 should closely match the factory offset but they are 1/2" wider so theoretically it should look about the same. That said, Ford did tuck all wheel/tire combos completely in the fender, so if you...
  15. Help me - does this look good?

You aren't far off. It would have a sticker for around $57,500 all in 2021. I would wait on the '23 since the 2021 year was semi-rushed and almost consider it a preproduction year getting the bugs worked out. Paying over the original MSRP for a first-year Ford anything is a No-go for me. If it...
  16. Say it Ain't so

    Bro, rock your Bronco.
  17. Boost gauge

The Boost on the Bronco is not like the old Thunderbirds and other turbo motors. Watch the digital gauge, it barely offers any boost, and when it does, it's very short-lived. I mean, I love the old analog boost gauges that came in 80-90's cars, but this thing will look spastic on a bronco.
  18. You can’t beat the SOFT top!

    Soft tops for the win.
  19. Steps/Sliders Question

I had the same exact scenario as you, with no true need for frame sliders (no rock climbing here in Maryland) and a 5'1" wife. I settled on the Rough Country ones as a great value for the protection and step offered. I considered the IAG ones since I had rock rails, but they were out of stock...
  20. You can’t beat the SOFT top!

Let’s all agree that we settled for “not” the modular top that we all wanted on day one! We all chose the option that best got us the closest to the modular features we cherished the most for the region we are in.
