A dealer can tell you your rail car number easily by just accessing the "vehicle visibility" section in FMC Dealer if you have your order number or vin number
it may have already been said, but this window sticker proves it was not a "stock" order. It clearly states "special order" on it which means it's a retail order. Stock window sticker would not say this and it would be a "Blue" color window sticker.
As of today, no communication from Ford stating any type of hold on the 2.7L engine. Yes, they may be some constraints on getting one, but you order them all day long.
Thank you. I do remember this now but the problem I saw was about 2/3’s of the DIA were not in the wbdo ordering system when we were making the orders so it was very frustrating trying to match up orders with the B&P printouts. IMO another bad idea from Ford. A classic example of “getting the...
If I may ask, where did you see that the dealer is reimbursed for installing accessories? I am curious cause I have not seen it and would like to Be able to do if it’s available.
I wonder too. Especially with winter coming on. We are waiting for a hardtop. Not even considering a soft top. Hard tops are going to be expensive. We had to replace the frame and just to top portion of the soft top on one of our demos and it was close to $5k.
I hope yours gets picked up soon. We did have one of our oldest 2 door BL get scheduled today too. I do believe it’s starting to pick up and we will start seeing more 2/4 door hard tops being scheduled.
O
I agree and would not do it myself but for this customer it was exactly what she wanted. Super happy for her. She is going to be presently surprised I’m sure.
Had a two week old order schedule today for us. I know reservations are important but only when it comes down to the last factor in scheduling. Right now it’s all about having a “buildable” order. The Bronco is a Big Bend std package with a 2.3L and soft top of course. Jumped in front of my...
Honestly, in all the communications I received from Ford before the reservation system opened up, I don’t remember reading “as best we can build in order” part. But I might had missed that part. I’ll go back and see if I can find it.
Realistically, you will probably be looking at least a year from now. A lot depends on your dealer and their allocation numbers but as the supply chain gets under control, we hope to see the deliveries pick up.
I’m sorry but I don’t remember it that way. Each dealer was given allocation for 2021 based on several factors including market share, #of Jeep owners and of course %of reservations to converted orders. Once we received our number, it then came down to “buildable” units for that build period...
