I definitely smelled my leaking diff, but it was also obvious it was leaking. Not puddles or stains obvious but clear with the bash plate on and obvious with the plate dropped.

I took mine in for a front pinion leak and transmission noise. They said they couldn't hear the noise... it was cold. They did fix the pinion leak and get it back to me in a day, so I decided not to give them grief on the noise. Could be that they think since they all sound loud like that...

I did the off-roadeo in February 23 and we did wipeout hill. Most of us were intimidated by it but essentially all of us just drove right up it. We didn't go back down it and I agree, going down looked way scarier.
