Reading some of the service horror stories I was readying myself for a potential fight when I went in for routine maintenance this morning and was going to bring this up. I didn't even get a chance to mention it. Service manager brought it up as soon as they pulled my vehicle info up and said...
You missed one...
-New Bronco
Oooof that hurts to look at. Are you going for new parts or take offs? A few members here can get you the P/N's to order. But I don't know about that new cab part.....
Edit: You should clarify cab. Are you talking the MIC hardtop or the actual structural steel...
I have the same issue getting shorted about 80 miles. Was that a pretty easy value to find in FORScan for editing? I didn't seen anything tagged on the spreadsheet, but it also hasn't been updated for months. Pretty annoying considering it's an official Ford product.
I think Flip posted something a while back about that frame section being replaceable in another rear ended Bronco.
If it were me, if possible, I'd try to keep it and get diminished value. Then wait for another Bronco. At least locally to me Broncos are still $5-10k ADM on the lot.
Well since this thread has been resurrected, this is how it is in CA and a few other states. Drivers are responsible to leave enough distance from the car in front of you to safety stop. It doesn't matter if Jesus himself appeared in front of the car ahead causing them to instantly they slam the...
1) No water temp, only the idiot bar. There is an actual oil temp read out under additional gauges.
2) I don't live anywhere really cold, so hard for me to gauge. Water temp warms decently fast since it's pretty small and having a thermostat helps get that heat up. Oil temp takes a while to...
I'd throw $20 bucks someones way to soften the financial blow of being a guinea pig/trail blazer for this swap. I'm sure there's enough people together that could sponsor a panel.
But the cynical side of me also sees someone taking said money and running.
That looks like the Raptor Brace and there's 2 things going on there. 1. The black tailgate brace and 2. the Raptor specific hinges that are needed to work with the brace.
IIRC someone has successfully ordered the Raptor hinges and they were alone over $300. I don't think anyone has ordered a...
Ok, so I'm not crazy. I have the same flowmaster outlaw dump and I felt it sounds a little different. The pitch change isn't doing it for me anymore and I think I'm going to put the stock muffler back on.
Weren't there some fuse box ground bolts that people where having trouble with? Give those a try.
Electrical gremlins are an unfortunate side effect of modern cars coming with so much tech.
No, you don't leave it hooked up to a laptop. Someone had a pretty good short succinct set of instructions here. I printed those up, it's really pretty straight forward.
Basically the abbreviated version
1)make a performance parts account.
2) enter voucher and download procal program
3)plug in...
Install was pretty painless for me. Spent more time reading the directions, putting a charger on, and making sure I had everything right so I didn't inadvertently brick the ecu. Stock download literally took less than 3 seconds. Left me kind of stunned, I thought it screwed up. Performance tune...
From experience, marine grade vinyl and wash out interior came in clutch with full blown stress colitis doggo diarrhea. Was also the first time I popped the front roof panels cause we were 45 minutes from home and needed to breathe.
WOW @LethalPerformance that shipping speed put Amazon prime to shame. Ordered 11:34 PST, in FedEx's hands and on its way to the West Coast by 1:44 PST:eek:
Really hustling to get those orders out before Thanksgiving
This, engine braking is EXACTLY what you shouldn't do in low traction scenarios. Inappropriate use of an engine brake in wet conditions killed some fire fighters a few years ago when they lost control due to engine braking causing them to slide and rolled the truck.
They're reliable because they had nearly 20 years to refine the engine and the powertrain.... it's been small incremental improvements on a Gen 2.
I had an 05 which I bought new and traded for my Bronco. It's throw out bearing made noise until you pushed the clutch (you know the thing people...
