If you weren't on the other side of the state I'd give you my set of sliders with all the hardware for $150, but it looks like those brackets work.
Well they don't look like the brackets when I pulled my rock rail. That doesn't mean they won't work.... Just they're not the same as factory. I'd be a little leary paying $150 for something that may not work. If I have time/remember later I'll snap some photos since mine is still sitting in the...
My L1-5 are telling me like 80ish pounds for the 5000. These are not light. What you can't see is they are not suspended, set the top of the hanger hook so they clear fully up with the rollers still on the ground. The bottom will rest about 4" away from the wall.
I got the 5000 from Costco a while back, more than enough for most Broncos in stockish form. If you have a raptor or plan on adding a bunch of armor and upgrades step up to the 7000.
Highly recommend the wall hangers if you have the space.
What do you want/need because as someone who had a Tacoma before my Bronco, they are wildly different vehicles. It's apples to oranges to compare and SUV to a truck.
The recovery points look like they're 1ft plus beyond where the factory points would be. That's a lot of extra torque applied to the frame horns when lifting. The bumper turned into a cheater bar with all that moment applied to the frame.
That's only if you spend the time to tailor it's criteria. Without that it's still garbage in garbage out.
Back on topic, I had a rental Cadillac XT4 with automatic wipers that behaved very similar to the video. They'd be doing their thing and then randomly decide to take long intermittent...
It's based off your vehicles avg driving mpg and the tank size. So do a couple hand calcs to verify how close your actual mpg is vs what the computer says. Mine's usually about 0.5 mpg optimistic but it's good enough for me. Or at least it was until the Ford performance tune made it think I only...
Easiest manual transmission vehicle I've ever driven. Have taken it off roading a couple times on both "easy" and "moderate" trails with zero troubles as well. If you rock crawl, I could see it advantages to an auto.
City and traffic is more a matter of personal preference. It doesn't bother...
I remember some of those posts, but the ones I remembered parked in 3rd or 4th gear. That high of a gear has no mechanical advantage to stop rolling in the little 2.3l as the engine will be barely turning. People can use C and be safe unless they're parked somewhere steep. It will really have to...
I'm going to wager it was really a fun dream but always DOA concept. FCA has no midsized truck offerings, so the Gladiator can fill that role. A Bronco truck would basically be a reskinned Ranger with how much commonality there is. It wouldn't be worth their time to develop and engineer new body...
It happens more often than you think, especially when just causally looking at the screen.
So to answer the question on oil temp, it depends. 190-210* has been in pretty normal temp in my climate depending on type of driving and ambient temps. I have gotten it as hot as 220* doing 80mph up a 6%...
Yeah it's transmission temperature unless there was some change by Ford. Don't worry you're definitely not the first person to mistake that as water temp and you won't be the last.
I was curious if you had something reading the OBD for water temp since it's not something we normally see.
