Since it's pretty much a crap shoot, I tried reading the tea leaves for you
Yeah... looks like you're boned
Unless you got to absolutely have it now, order what you want. Could get it mid 22, maybe earlier, who knows? Good thing is they have more time to work out manufacturing...
Exactly. Not pointing fingers but you can't exactly form any kind of complete conclusion on a forum.
How many times have people modded their stuff/done something stupid, blown it up, and then took it to the dealer saying this POS blew up? Used to happen all the time with diesels and tuners...
Are you sure you don't have a helicopter following you and your bronco everywhere?
I mean they do gather quite the crowd.
But seriously, this makes me sad. Hopefully they can diagnose and fix quickly.
Have we ruled out the OP waxing the transfer case and hitch yet?
In regard to the dealer, I'm a pretty chill person but I'm not sure I could have bit my tongue and held back on the "file an insurance claim". Hopefully it's just a stupid sensor acting up and not serious
You do realize just about a month after launch in Aug there's probably a good 100k people in front of you if not more right? By September the 170k or so reservations number was floated around.
Everyone ordered in 2021 as Jan 18th or 19th was when reservations could be converted to actual orders.
Slightly off topic, does your Tacoma rev hang in all gears or just certain ones? Mine hangs only on 4-5 shift primarily when I'm on it entering freeways and north of 3k rpm wise off the top of my head. It's not noticeable shifting through everything else. I also have a 2nd gen so maybe if you...
By the way he was driving, he was doing it for the sake of shifting coupled with editing made it excessive. Multiple times he'd slow down then accelerated hard up to the Bronco ahead of him.
I wouldn't use him as a baseline to judge the number of times you need to shift while driving "normally".
At least they're durable enough to hold up to years of abuse without de-laminating or showing the comb core and only some color fade.
Too soon? :ROFLMAO:
Glad we're on the same page!
But seriously in my order of desire
1. Oil catch can
2. Cold air intake
3. Intercooler kit
then pretty much the rest of your offerings from the Ranger.
And feel free to take some time to develop them. My wallet will need time to recuperate.
Part of me thinks half the problem for build date whining is creating by the domino's delivery tracker so people can be updated 20 times a day. They created an expectation that they always be updated. Last time I ordered a vehicle (15 years or so ago) it was simply we'll call you when it's in...
Probably right it's higher quality than my Miller Mig that's half as old. Purchased in 2009, 100% indoor garage stored and 2 years ago the plastic bits just crumbled and shattered. Including the tensioner for the drive roller. It's a $450 part alone! Might as well buy a new welder when replacing...
*It's only a $700 upgrade*
You have to account for the fact you loose the soft top and it's associated value. Heck the twill retractable bestop is $2200 from the accessories page.
Going to be some big sticker shock when the hard tops hit the accessories catalogs.
$0.005/PT
So have we found out if all early reservations get these points? Or is it for something else like dropping dual tops.
I'd like a cool $1100 to doll up my Bronco 🤣
