Non-FE, I got a Badlands. I had the option to get either FEs when I reserved but then I can't get a 7 speed and I consider this to be the last great hoorah of the manual. As said in this thread there are several non-FE 4dr builds with window stickers. I might have even seen someone with a 9/7...

I wonder if it's possible to utilize an AUX switch for the override button? It poses pros and cons, it to me would be cleaner looking than an add on button but it's location isn't really in reach without getting into the vehicle. Things to explore when these are available to us normies.

Aluminum oxidizes to a whitish color and when it does it will bubble the paint. So if you're seeing red/brown its contamination that originated elsewhere. If it were me I'd clay bar it and see what happens, because I already have it and it's easy to do.

I just watched it. Sure looked like mount flex is what caused the ball rolling for it's demise. I'm not sure a warn would survive that kind of deflection either.

On top of what you said, where would they store these? There's no protected storage areas for masses of topless Broncos to sit inside while they wait for tops. They only have outdoor lots and unless Ford wants to do build vehicles twice they wouldn't leave it outdoors exposed. It would be stupid...

Have you tried blowing in it? Seriously though you should be able to force a reset by holding the volume/home button and the skip/next button for 10 seconds until it force power cycles.

I just got a MIC window sticker, didn't even think I would get one for a long time after I didn't get a build week change email.

Since May lol I've been bumped a lot. I'm thinking Ford sent out a worst case scenario for the no more MIC tops unless you're a FE or have a VIN. Later I think they might squeeze some more hard tops in when they get an idea of production for the V2 MIC.

Got a window sticker and blend of 9/8 for a 4dr Hard Top. I honestly gave up on getting it until Nov/Dec due to the top.

W00T!! I have a blend date of 9/8 for a MIC 4 door Badlands. They're restarting hardtop production again!! 🥳🥳🥳 I resigned myself to it being a November/December delivery Christmas present
