I'm guessing the same thing is happening somewhere on the skid. I'll have to take it off and closesly inspect today to see where it's rubbing. Would make sense since the the disconnected sway...
Interesting, I hit my sway bar disconnect and drove a while today. No Creak.
Something is telling me the skid plate is creating a more rigid frame not allowing much flex therefor creating the creak/pop, disconnecting the swaybar would allow a little more flex, makes sense to me atleast
I love the trail app, but likes others have said it's flakey and often wont connect, leading to reinstall the app.
Trail recording is super cool, wish they would scrap everything except the trail recording w/ telemetry
I've gotten advice from adam, and bought items from him. He's went above and beyond with the advice and products worked as they should.
Nothing wrong with being short and to the point, as long as it answers the question. The fact he's responding to business related emails, on sundays, is...
I got Asfir underbody skids. After getting it dirty, and even after cleaning, I get a squeak and even minor popping when turning the wheel. I traced it to the 2 Skid mounting points right near the Steering rack.
If I pop the skid off and clean all the mating surfaces, it generally goes away...
50% is a solid starting point for most things that get changed on a bronco.
Specific things such as wire harnesses can go to like 75% on eBay if your patient.
Looking for someone who wants cloth seats, and has MGV seats.
I have the cloth seats. From a big bend with heated seats and manual adjustments.
Figured with cloth seats no longer being offered, I may get someone.
I am located in MN.
As others have said, during install one way to install is remove the CV from the hub. If they didnt do it correctly very possibly it wasn't seated back correctly.
4h/4a only means its coming from thefront drivetrain most likely. CV's im 90% sure
I know it's not the style your going for, but the fab fours stubby is what I have and absolutely love it.
Btw, beware of how any winch bumper mounts, is important to have multiple Angles bolted down, not just the stock ones of the front
I've owned many diesels, both consumer and commercial grade. I would never buy another one if I didn't have to.
We have a 93 and 87 npr, both almost bullet proof. Have some newer ones also, guess which diesels have constant emissions problems?
You need to get more specific with the dealer and give him some help. Vibration to one person, may not be vibration to everyone. As you've driven the vehicle every day, your much much more intune to how it feels then anyone else. Here's how i'd look at it
Try to pin point it. Find a way to make...
I had this and posted earlier in the thread but.....
I ended up trading up to a Sas.... BUT to ANYONE hearing this problem, the EXACT noise and vibration Runningjerk had, I'm almost certain it's the FAD on the 190 front axels.
My next step to diag was to basically disconnect the FAD (front...
Just wanted to put my .02 in.
I have Asfir skids, noticed the same clicking as the video. Pin pointed it to only happen once while turning the wheel one way, then when turning the other way it'd only happen once as well untill i turned it back the other way.
Pin pointed it to the skid plate...
Safari mode all summer. Don't care about safety as I never lock doors and don't keep anything off value. Have gotten poured on numerous times.
I have carpet but also have the OEM mats. It helps in the cargo are to pool the water.
If it gets soaked, I just wipe up the mat, then let the trunk...
That is exactly what I was going to suggest- there's such minimal things to stop working on the discos. Chances are that it has to do with the wiring to it.
I has the front seal on mine go bad also. When they did warranty work on it I told them about the front disconnect I added and told them...
