Just switched to Granger! Appreciate the open/honest lines of communication... especially considering I hadn't heard a peep from my local dealer here in Atlanta. Albert from Granger replied to my reservation update right away! Looking forward to a road trip next spring/summer!
Sorry to hear about your loss. The good thing is I'm seeing our Gentle Giants live longer and longer these days. My female Ari (a.k.a Sexy Gurl) lived to 12 and Atticus is currently 10 1/2. Don't count these guys out... many are living to a ripe old age and make great companions!
Let's not get into a battle of semantics, please. As I mentioned in my comment, I actually worked for the utility for 20-plus years and I can tell you that "range anxiety" is indeed a real issue. Perhaps not for you, but it's a common concern that continually appeared in our focus groups...
To qualify my comment: I drive a Tesla Model 3 (my vehicle) and a Toyota Sequoia (the "dog" vehicle). I also worked for 20 years for gas & electric utilities in CA and GA, including writing solar energy, energy efficiency and electric vehicle communications. To address the OPs original question...
LOL... they don't start out as big as livestock. Here's Urban-Chaos at 10 weeks old hanging with Atticus. At one year old and 168 pounds Chaos is a bit bigger than his 'brother' but for a while I was actually able to pick him up. :)
Looking forward to ditching "Big Daddy" for the Bronco! But in the meantime, the pups enjoy their ride. Here's Chaos and Havoc checking out the scene... Atticus is laying in the back.
I use a Heininger Twist Step to help my pups into my SUV. Fits into the tow hitch and folds under the SUV when not in use. Then you can take Baker... everywhere. :)
Greetings All... here are my co-pilots.
Urban-Chaos... one year old.
His sister, Y Wreak Havoc (12 weeks old)
And Atticus (10 1/2 years old)
Watching over us from above are:
