Hard to say. That could've been the excuse given by my agent to justify the rate hike. I've since switched to a friend's office, and he "found" me more discounts. Honestly, I think it's more of a hat trick where if they can find a way to justify higher rates they do... relying on so many factors...

Have all that and more on my Tesla and it didn't make a bit of difference to State Farm. They're looking at the cost to replace the vehicle if stolen or in an accident... not how likely it is for either of those things to happen. :(
