  1. Low value on used Bronco

Sorry for veering! Back to your original question, my experience (and the experiences of many) is used Bronco values have plummeted (unless an owner was fortunate enough to have sold theirs during the golden period during the pandemic or shortly thereafter) or unless an owner is lucky enough to...
  2. Low value on used Bronco

GA has some really beautiful areas...when I was stationed in Florida I drove through many times. The property taxes seem higher in the East (a 500k house here is assessed for about 7k in property tax and the same amount you are paying for homeowner's insurance). My county here is 7% sales tax as...
  3. Low value on used Bronco

I think that is the issue...anywhere that is "typically" desirable for many (affordable/good weather/low taxes/safe/hospital/proximity to civilization/etc.) is no longer a secret. Everyone who leaves wherever they are to go to such places generally results in prices there going up. I bought a...
  4. Low value on used Bronco

Awesome machinery indeed...I believe the Turkish military uses a variation of them. I lean towards HK, but appreciate other flavors. As you know, CA does restrict CCW choices to their very narrow "list," but hopefully that will expand one day. It is completely hit or miss...a P2000 is ok but a...
  5. Low value on used Bronco

Yikes...I'd think that if AZ is the goal Flagstaff or Prescott Valley or Sedona would be more your thing...much milder winters than AK and loads of sunshine. When I lived in Phoenix and Tucson, I quickly realized that brutal heat is worse than bitter cold (because at least one can dress warmer...
  6. Low value on used Bronco

Let me know if you ever come out to Southern California and you want to wheel... I lived in Phoenix for almost 10 years and hopefully your vacation is booked for the winter months there? It was also interesting that when I lived in Sequim Washington that even though I thought the weather sucked...
  7. Low value on used Bronco

I must admit having been former military and a shooter myself California does make it a hassle to get ammo...but oddly enough it's no longer tough (at least in my county) to get a concealed carry (and even without one to transport whatever you need to a range). A lot of folks dislike California...
  8. Low value on used Bronco

Lots of places are very tolerable/ideal IF someone moves from California and cashed out after making a lot of money on a home that shot up in value...and that is also the reason many people in other states hate Californians, because they drive up the house prices for natives of those places. My...
  9. Low value on used Bronco

Tha I was stationed loads of places...I don't particularly love the sun (or desert) either. What I do love about CA is that one can easily find a place that is foggy most of the day (or year)...or sunny...or rainy...or hot...or cold...or any combination of the above. San Diego, for example, is...
  10. Low value on used Bronco

We thought that "escaping" CA was a solution...moved from San Diego to Sequim, WA years ago. Sequim is an anomaly for WA because it gets "only" about 19" of rain a year...and even a slight distance away, in Forks, they get 100". We had RVed there for years, in summer, and loved the place. We...
  11. Low value on used Bronco

Having owned the TJ/LJ/JK/JL/Bronco, and towing, IMHO a Jeep is the clear winner for a tow vehicle. Even a JL weighs 1000 less than the 2-door Bronco, and the Bronco has already proven to be a shit show when attempting to tow even when owners follow all the instructions. When towing my JL, it is...
  12. Update: fixed today! - I needed to vent about my Bronco, feel free to ignore this post if you love yours ✌️

We have a 4Runner but 33s are as big as it can go without some pretty significant cutting and even more lift than I already have (3.5 front 2.5 rear). I wish 35s would work...but figure on upwards of 10k to do it right.
  13. Update: fixed today! - I needed to vent about my Bronco, feel free to ignore this post if you love yours ✌️

I loved my Bronco when it was operational...but it has since been sold and my JL, like yours, has been working as intended so far as well (just say'in)...also knocking on (simulated) wood.
  14. Low value on used Bronco

Yup...I had a 2021 Badlands 2 door SAS Lux...ordered in the first hour...paid 55k (MSRP) and put about 15-20k of mods (swing out bumper winch intercooler Ford Performance tune Methods Goose Gear Diode Dynamics on and on) and ended up (even with only 6000ish miles on it) getting bent over for the...
  15. 2025 Broncos... 2-door going extinct?

No offense intended to 4 door aficionados intended, but IMHO certain cars/trucks were intended for 2 doors...and adding extra ones often results in something like this:
  16. 2025 Broncos... 2-door going extinct?

That is a quick street car indeed...normally aspirated? Pump gas? Av gas? Holly double pumper with a very healthy shot of NOS run on 50/50 76 race gas and premium unleaded. 355 CID Reggie Jackson's High Performance in San Bruno CA, built engine with all race parts. NOS fogger system plumbed on...
  17. 2025 Broncos... 2-door going extinct?

I remember when you could order a Camaro with both the RS and SS package. Everything was an option, you wanted a heater, you wanted a radio, you wanted a passenger side mirror, you wanted visors, you paid extra. You wanted A/C, that was about a 1/4 of the price of the car. Many cars had...

I loved the days when ya could order the options individually…would love to have a base 2d Sasquatch 3.0 with square fenders and mod top… I was a kid during arguably what was the best of those days...my dad worked for General Motors, in endurance testing (not sales), and he shares with me about...
  20. 2025 Broncos... 2-door going extinct?

That...my SAS Badlands on 35s was about as much tire as I needed/wanted, but to get full use (no scrub/correct driveline angles/etc.) on my LJ with 35s took some work. For comparison, deals like this exist currently: 51,000 miles...Currie lift...33s. For less than 30k, this: Savvy control...
