Makes me wonder if the old super duty shock towers would work .
Would be nice to be sble to tell people that you and Ford made your huge lift kit.
I got Wet Okoles in my Comanche. For 10 hours, 4 days a week in and out a hundred times, in the rain and mud of Huelo on Maui. Aside from dog hair and their Logo peeling a little they look like they did when new. The seats under them are beat and torn but their extra padding makes em comfy. Also...
Im new to these modern cars and devices. To me tuning requires a flathead lol. But from what I'm hearing its alot like adjusting sensitivity on a computer mouse. Because the current drive by wire standards are slow response between the pedal and the throttle body.
I still want to see something that mounts to the the windshield, the cowl points, and somewhere on the rear. With a flip back basket to allow roof operation. Preferably aluminum. Just thinking here for rear mounts, I wonder about a quater panel mod or replacement piece as a part of a kit. Maybe...
So I have barely driven any modern vehicles, and yeah most of em seemed dullish even if they were fast. Is this basically like changing throttle springs around on a carb? Does it go any further like changing springs on a MSD distributor or just operate the the pedal?
Time is meaningless, its all relative, we are just sparks of life in an endless cosmic marching band, playing Inna-gadda-davita.
But yeah I will make my own unless those fancy powered step sliders come down below $1000.
Probably about 5 years after i pay it off. Once the interior plastic starts to break. Then if the mood still strikes me I will pull the plastic. Cut back the entrusions, tuck the wiring or eliminate it. Then fab up some diamond plate bolt in panels the smooth and box it all out. I will have a 4...
Looks like a weight plate storage bar with a olympic size adapter. Maybe used for payload testing? Also looks like a total posers home made bed mounted baja tire carrier.
But is your rear end as big as mine lol. I have been tempted as a tide me over vehicle, more likely I will convince my mother in law into one. Then convince her she need to lift it! :ROFLMAO:
Looks rough, gotta say having a decent vehicle and equipment is the lil boy scout in me telling me to be prepared. My Comanche always has comprehensive tool set, drill, sawzall, impact, 500ft paracord, 250ft of recovery line/straps, 4 shackles, 2 36" straps, winch, light/heavy comealongs...
Should have gone with a Ford.
I have honestly been tempted by these things. Just not sure I can fit. Hell the Bronco is a lil tight for my tastes. But 4wd 25+mpg and a $300 payment aint bad.
