  1. Interesting observations around market size

My personal opinion is the Wrangler won't have a V-8. The announcement of the concept was intended to be a distraction from the Bronco launch. I doubt it will ever actually happen. The last time Jeep offered a V-8 in their removable top vehicle was back in the CJ-7 days, last year was 1981...
  2. What Bronco swag gifts has your dealer sent you?

We haven't gotten anything from Ford. I bought myself a couple shirts and a hat. Honestly, I do you really expect gifts for putting down a $100 refundable deposit? I can see maybe on First edition reservations Ford might do something. If your dealer did send you something, it might be...
  3. Who's going to buy a sasquatch and throw on some 33s

2.7 with 4.70 gears and 35s is already on the "short" side if you ask me. Nothing to be gained by reducing size to 33s, you'll just be running up the gears even faster and revving a little more at highway speeds. Ecoboost motors don't necessarily benefit from shorter gearing. I remember when...
  4. I just drove a new Ford Ranger w/ 2.3L from Alabama to Pennsylvania

"Twin Scroll" doesn't mean two turbos, it is still one turbo with one turbine. What changes is the "piping" and how the exhaust gasses are fed to the turbine.
  5. What would be a realistic towing capacity?

Actually they have published "targeted" or "at least" figures before on pre-launch vehicles with regards to horsepower, tow ratings etc., although usually they use the quoted words with that figure. Likely the largest factor limiting the tow rating of the Bronco is the lack of a rear sway bar...
  6. Bronco Dealers: No-ADM, X-Plans & Special Discounts Master List

Taylor Ford Lincoln (www.taylorford.ca) in Moncton, New Brunwick, Canada, does not mark up over MSRP. We will also honor X-plan.
  7. Are you not entertained?

You're still off more than you think. The 4 door is rated for 3500, your shorter wheelbase 2 door is only good for 2000 lbs.
  8. Are you not entertained?

Commercial Vehicle Tool (CVT)? Although I don't remember seeing spring rate specs on anything other than Medium duty (F650/750).
