Nothing is scheduled/serialised yet. We're seeing what orders are "previewing", meaning they should schedule sometime tomorrow. That's when we'll know for sure which are being built.
Don't read into not hearing anything yet. I'm not contacting anyone with confirmation until I have vins and...
The DIO accessory list is very small for now. In the future it might include winches, light pods, etc. but for now it is mostly door/top covers, cargo nets, and off road assistance kits. Its all in the order guide which you can find in this thread...
10 is a "higher" priority than 19. The priority is only relative to other orders at that dealership.
The priority system is simply a tool for a dealer to set preference within their own orders as to which ones they would prefer to have built over others. That is how it works in normal...
As far as I know Canadians can't change the dealer they have their reservation with. I had inquired about it when someone wanted to move their reservation to our dealership because theirs wasn't getting back to them.
Only stock orders can have a priority code between 20-80. Your retail order based on a converted reservation can't have a priority code of 56, it would have to be a stock order and would say so on the order sheet, along withe the customer name area being blank.
Do you have an order sheet...
I look after inventory ordering and I'm also the Bronco specialist at my dealership.
As long as your Bronco order has a priority code between 10-19, you're all good. In the case of the Bronco and the reservation system, your reservation timestamp decides your overall place in line. What the...
The correct acronym is WBDO. (web based dealership ordering).
A printout from WBDO does show your order number ("order code" in the example someone showed above) which, along with the body code of your order, is only unique to your dealership. It will not show your reservation number...
There would have to be a major shift in packaging ideology across Ford's entire line. Ford holds heated steering wheel as a "luxury'" feature, even up here in Canada. Look to the F-150, you need to be in a "high" package Lariat before you get a heated steering wheel, there no "cold weather"...
My username is a little cryptic, but I am a Sales Manager at a Canadian dealer. Whatever information they have is not official from Ford, what did they tell you?
The first few weeks of production are never customer units, of any new model year, and especially for an entirely new vehicle. This gives them some time to discover build issues etc. and "practice" building them on dealer stock first. Once they have everything figured out and are content with...
Good summary. As an example, the 37" Super Swamper SXIIs I have on my Jeep TJ measure almost exactly 35" tall when on the vehicle. This tire line is known to run quite small VS. the size on the sidewall, so I knew I was getting roughly a "true" 35" tall tire.
Riiiiiight. Because Toyota still make the vehicle you use as your avatar (FJ Cruiser) and have steadily improved it? Nissan still soldiering on and improving the XTerra?
That would be completely contrary to interviews with designers etc. that I've seen. Watch the video I posted above.
Got a link to where the "management type" posted that?
Here is an interview with the Bronco Chief Designer, I'll take his word over internet conjecture about development timeline. He talks a little about the design timeline starting around the 12 minute mark:
"We hadn't really put pen to paper when it was announced at NAIAS 2017"
24 months...
People with no real knowledge were guessing as to what it could/might/would be and posting it on the internet. Same as all the photoshops of F150 as as modern 2-door full size broncos. Those were all over the internet too, but that design was never under consideration.
Just because you saw it...
People need to stop saying same "platform" like the only thing changed is what is above the frame. The differences between the Ranger/Bronco suspension are vast. The characteristics of leafs VS. coil/multilink are like night and day.
Even the Gladiator/Wrangler that both use coils have...
