  1. Canada vs USA reservation system and production factory?

I put my first Bronco Sport order in back in September, mind you it was my only allocation for that month. Bronco Sport is built in Hermosillo. Southern US dealers would certainly get theirs much sooner than Canadian dealers, logistically it takes longer to ship a vehicle up here from Mexico. I...
  2. Email from Dealer orders opening next week

The comical part in all of the "heresay" that is being posted here. The salesman/manager/dealer principal at XYZ Ford has absolutely ZERO specific knowledge of order bank opening date, production startup, etc. They are 100% making up any specific dates they give you at this point.
  3. Email from Dealer orders opening next week

I guarantee you that is not what most salespeople are trained to do. Is that what a small percentage do? Sure is.
  4. Bronco order date / bank now opening January? Per dealer

District reps have dates, they are not sharing them as they have been told not to. Why? Probably because if a date is missed, everyone gets upset. Any dealers stating they know this or heard that are pulling information from the nether regions of their posterior. The order bank will open when...
  5. Ford Bronco is going to be sold in Brazil and Argentina in 2021

If they are built in a plant in Argentina, it won't affect production quantities for North America. Your North American Bronco will be "built in the USA", and the ones built in Argentina will be for South America, where "built in the USA" means very little.
  6. Email from Dealer orders opening next week

I don't know why some dealer employees find it so hard to say "I don't know". There is no firm date that has been shared with dealers, anything you are being told is a guess. This is why customers think Ford keeps moving dates, because people state their guesses/hopes/rumors as fact, and when...
  7. Email from Dealer orders opening next week

Steele Ford is a dealer is in my region. I'd take that message with a giant helping of salt.
  8. Ford Bronco is going to be sold in Brazil and Argentina in 2021

North American Broncos are built on the same line as the North American Rangers. Which makes sense as they share a similar frame. South American Rangers are built in Argentina, which is likely where South American Broncos would be built.
  9. Ford

I won't say that, because someone smarter than me will probably come a long with a few benefits. I would say that there is no downside to installing one, besides having to empty it occasionally.
  10. Ford

The concern with valve coking (carbon deposits from burned oil) is from vaporised oil in the intake stream coming in from the PCV system, that is why oil separators ("catch cans") are inline on the PCV hose that feeds to the intake. The other end connects to the "low pressure" side of the...
  11. Dates for 2021 Bronco Order Acceptance, Scheduling and Production Start Revealed!

It would have been accurate at the time. Keep in mind "expected" is like "estimated", it is not set in stone and can be pushed back as time goes on. They also won't start shipping units right away after building them. My understanding is the first few weeks of production will be held for...
  12. Dates for 2021 Bronco Order Acceptance, Scheduling and Production Start Revealed!

The Ranger is not available in regular cab in either the US or Canada, I was wondering what country they are headed for.
  13. Dates for 2021 Bronco Order Acceptance, Scheduling and Production Start Revealed!

Some of those dates are way off. Our order/scheduling/production timing will all closely follow the US dates.
  14. Bronco towing vs Ranger, why the difference?

Although they both share a straight rear axle, the Ranger has leaf sprung rear, whereas the bronco has a coil sprung rear. This is a huge difference when it comes to towing. A leaf spring rear end can do without a rear sway bar as the springs not only push up under compression, but also pull...
  15. Levine confirms 2021 Model Year reservations will be built BEFORE dealer stock

Under normal circumstances, if you are financing an ordered vehicle, the dealer will want to make sure you will qualify for financing on that vehicle. No, there will be no vin, but they can use one from a similar priced vehicle on their lot as a "test". This ensures that they are not ordering...
  16. Levine confirms 2021 Model Year reservations will be built BEFORE dealer stock

Add in Kentucky plant too. When Ford says "F-Series" they are talking about all pickups, including F-250,350, and 450 pickups, chassis trucks are still excluded. It takes three plants worth of production to add up to that number.
  17. Ford Options to AVOID?

Go on any Jeep forum and ask about the quality of "Rusty Ridge" products, it is usually junk.
  18. Sticker Shock on a Fully-Loaded BadSquatch

You must have picked something that forced the Lux package. I have to check every box on a Badlands build (leaving out accessories) with Lux package, leather seats, Sasquatch, tow, even picked rapid red for a paint charge color, all landing me just under 75K MSRP. Unless you're talking a tax...
