All the photos were taken by our youngest son. He loves cars and has a pretty good eye for a good pic. He puts most of his photos on his @loozin.traction Instagram account.
Love the 33s! I think they are a good compromise between on-road, towing and off-road. And there are other personal reasons for getting the 33s over the 35s. I am sure we will get into situations where the 35s will be better but for us, the 33s are working great. Sorry but I have not driven...
Yes. When we are stopped even in 2H, I can hit the camera button and the front camera will come on. I also have the options of the different camera views. But as soon as we start going, once we hit 6 mph, the camera view goes away. But I will have to check again with the "tire view". I...
40 in front and 38 in back is what it's set for on-road. For our off-roading excursions, I aired down to 30 in front and 28 in the rear. I may go lower in the future for off-road as the tires still seem plenty stiff for the terrain we were going over.
This will just shift the transmission up or down, show the indicator for a few seconds and disappears once the auto takes back over. Why should I have to actually "shift" the transmission to see what gear it is in?
An indicator does come on the screen for just a couple of seconds after it shifts up or down (depending on if you hit the + or - button). But then auto takes back over, shifts back into the gear it thinks it should be in and the indicator on the dash disappears.
I wondered about this at first as well. But it does not seem to be an issue. When they are opened, it can't move down fast enough to not slightly catch on the weather stripping. But I think it was designed this way. It opens and hangs up just a little but must be down in order to close. We...
So we drove off the lot with our new 4-door Bandlands with the 2.7 last Wednesday afternoon. It now has just over 1250 on-road and off-road miles on it. Two of our sons have also taken possession of new Jeep Wranglers, one a Rubicon and the other a Willys. The Rubicon is as close of a...
We have had our Bronco for 2 days now. It is magical! However, the biggest and about the only disappointment is the roof. The wind noise at 70 mph is much greater than I had anticipated. And most of the edges of the roof are rough and not the same color as the rest of the roof. It certainly...
Good questions! I grew up driving a manual transmission and my first vehicle had a manual transmission. As you drive a manual, you know exactly what gear you are in and you get a better feel for what is going on with the vehicle, specifically the drive train. You learn to feel when the engine...
The whole point of my original post is that it doesn't show when the automatic transmission is in the automatic mode. It will show it when you're in manual mode but it will not show what gear the automatic transmission automatically shifts into. You can hit the plus or minus button when you're...

Not in the Bronco. If you hit the + or -, it shifts and shows the gear you are in for about 3 seconds. Then it shifts back into auto and the indicator disappears.
I played around more with this today. At this point, I don't believe the Bronco has the ability to always show the gear indicator when the transmission is in auto mode. It's a shame because I love this feature on the Wrangler. As Cousin Eddie pointed out, you can hit the +/- buttons on the...
