Picked up our non-sas Badlands (2.7 4 door) yesterday. Then we proceeded to go visit the kids in a college town 120 miles away. The round trip was approximately 300 miles, 80% of it was on the freeway between 70 and 75 mph (I was trying to be nice to it). On the way there, I used normal mode...
I did notice this. But I'm wondering if there's a way to always show what gear you're in without having to shift the transmission. I know the Jeep Wranglers can do this and I'm hoping we can too.
Just took delivery of our Badlands earlier today. We are so excited! There is one thing however that has me perplexed. We have the auto transmission and I would like the dash to show what gear it's currently in. If I put the trans in manual mode, it shows the current gear at the top of the...
I'm curious if the "area within" needs to fill up with water to a certain level before it starts to leak out of the airbag cover. I ask this because to reproduce it, you may need to have water spraying on it for quite awhile to fill it up before it starts dribbling/pouring out.
Same here. I had a blend date of 6/28 and today's date (6/29) was just added to the tracking tool. Waiting for my status to change to "Built" and shipped! :D
Not a fan of Les Schwab either. Last time we were there we bought a new set of four tires for our 4x4. They put a different size on the front than on the rear. 🤔
You are correct, I misspoke. Not EVERY media outlet reported on the Bronco having the 10R80 transmission. What I should have said is that every media outlet that reported what transmission the Bronco would have, stated that it would be the 10R80. A simple Google search will result in a lot of...
Your "speculation and assumptions" may be correct and I hope they are. At this point, making assumptions is the only thing any of us can do because Ford continues to me mum on the subject. I find it interesting however that every media outlet, large and small, reported for months that the...
I have also seen and read this. But there is no definitive information that tells us which transmission these vehicles actually have in them. Back to my original point, if these vehicles were manufactured before Ford made the decision to switch from the 10R80 to the 10R60, then they very well...
The Bronco R was used in the Baja 1000. This "race truck" used the stock 2.7 engine and transmission. A stock Bronco was also used in the NORRA Mexican 1000. But neither of these races are valid arguments that the 10R60 is good enough because we don't have validated info about what...
Bummer! We have a white 2005 Chevy Suburban that the Bronco will be replacing. I'm also hoping she holds up so we can sell her next month and get a down payment. :) I hope you get your Bronco on time and you have years of reliable enjoyment!
And by the time you buy an isolator (to protect your main vehicle battery) and/or a battery controller, you end up with a system that usually works well, is nicely tucked away but isn't much cheaper because deep cycle batteries cost more than regular lead acid batteries. These little...
Interesting that you should ask. After a lot of research, I just settled on this one and ordered it yesterday:

I was really leaning towards the Jackery 300 or 500 but found this Ecoflow River Max...
My Bronco was originally scheduled for the week of June 14th. Got delayed 3 weeks to July 5th. Just got an email from Ford that it is now scheduled the week of June 28th!
