I read through the entire first post. Just looking for clarification if Iām actually price protected against all increases or just the latest rounds.
Found out from Ford my price protection is $3,220. My reservation is from October ā20. My question is am I also entitled to prior year increases as well? This is quite a way off from my original pricing. I also dropped some things that increased the original MSRP but even with the $3,220 off Iām...
Glad it worked out for you!
Honestly I fully expect I have a similar situation with Ford not having the right numbers. Seems theyāre knocking off some price increases but not the ones for ā22 and prior.
Definitely feel for the Granger folks with the massive influx theyāre getting.
Yep they said $3,220 which matches the spreadsheet.
However my original MSRP was $51,825 compared to my current @ $55,785, and that build had things like the MOD top, door bags, and cyber orange paint. I did add roof racks, hoop steps & MIC top but that gap still seems way off to me.
Makes sense, they got the price to the latest sheet I had signed off on October in October of ā22. Which wouldnāt account for any price increases prior to that point.
Does price protection not equal what your original price of the Bronco should have been? Just looking at a signed sheet I sent them from ā21 and Iām seeing a large gap between that and what the price protection would equal out to.
I donāt know why I was optimistic the price of my Bronco would be close to what I was expecting right off the bat. Just heard from Shelby and thereās a $4000 price delta between what I had anticipated and what I was told. Maybe invoice discounts werenāt calculated yet or the full discount from...
Figured that was the case, just was looking to save a few bucks as the NY one is $12.50 but thatās just if youāre driving within the state or taking the car out of the state.
Awesome thanks for the heads up. May even see if I can get a temp tag from the state and have the ball rolling before pickup.
edit: welp
āIf you purchase a vehicle in another state, you will need to go through that state's DMV office to get a temporary plate and registration to transport the...
May have mis-remembered but does granger handle the sales tax? Going to be registering in NY and just wondering if Iāll need to set aside that or not.
Same ship date, currently unloaded in rail yard.
Surprised they havenāt contacted me about this yet. Mine was unloaded from the train and I made them aware my address changed a couple times.
Completely agree, I donāt think weāll see a huge change in the next few months but fingers crossed things calm down in 2-3 years for refinancing opportunities.
