  1. Ford ProCal is now 50 State CARB approved!!

If I’m following this all correctly, the timeline of changes seems to be: Up to 2023: Rev matching, could be toggled on and off 2024: Rev matching, permanently on once installed This week and beyond: No rev marching at all, no ā€˜auto stop off’ setting memory And the leading hypothesis is that...
  2. Ford ProCal is now 50 State CARB approved!!

This is disappointing news, if it is confirmed that rev matching is gone for good. I waited until they released the tune for ā€˜24s and then heard that some folks couldn’t turn rev matching off after install (always on, couldn’t be disabled) which made me worried about fully committing to it so I...
  3. Badlands off road buttons?

Unless he has a 7MT. That’s the one toy us manual drivers don’t get to play with.
  4. 7MT - clutch slave cylinder failure

Your sounds more similar to my failure -- sounds like the slave cylinder is failing. @jthomasBadlands problem sounds like a catastrophic failure of the clutch. Glad he can get it fixed quickly. Mine took 2 weeks for my dealer to get the new slave cylinder and get it installed. It's been running...
  5. Black oval emblem options?

Trim removal tools are key on this mod as you have to get those clips to disengage or risk breaking off the stems. Put painters tape around the emblem and work really slowly and carefully. I got mine off smoothly enough that it could be reused and no clips got broken off.
  6. Driver Door Rubbing on Body Panel

Thanks everyone. Stopped by the dealer last night. Talked to service and they told me I need to talk to the body shop side, which had already closed. So I’ll take it by again tomorrow so they can photograph it and get the warranty repair in motion.
  7. Driver Door Rubbing on Body Panel

After washing my ā€˜24 Badlands I noticed the driver side door has been rubbing on the body at the very end of the door. I haven’t taken my doors off (yet) so they are aligned as they were from the factory. I want to get this touched up so it doesn’t start rusting at these bare metal spots, but I...
  8. Drop it off and we’ll look at it in 6 weeks

I always show up in person too, as I find it’s harder for them to push off a person standing in front of them than it is to push off a faceless voice on the phone. I was lucky (relatively speaking) that when my clutch failed (slave cylinder) I already had an appointment for a service scheduled...
  9. 7MT - clutch slave cylinder failure

Quick update — dealer texted on Friday. The new slave cylinder arrived last week and they installed it. But it was still leaking clutch fluid, so next they ordered a new hose they believe is the culprit and hope to have that in today. Getting a little worried this is going to turn into...
  10. 7MT - clutch slave cylinder failure

Thanks! I am pretty meticulous with maintenance, so it will definitely get proper fluid changes at needed intervals. I actually had the master brake cylinder on my ā€˜75 BMW R90/6 go out and was able to rebuild that myself. The clutch slave cylinder for a ā€˜24 Bronco is going to be…trickier. šŸ˜‚...
  11. 7MT - clutch slave cylinder failure

Haven’t seen anyone post about this failure, so hoping it’s just a freak, rare occurrence. My slave cylinder on my ā€˜24 Badlands 2DR failed at 4 months / 6,800 miles. I don’t drive hard or drop the clutch like a crazy man. Wondering if others have had this happen and if this is likely an isolated...
  12. Where did you relocate your badges to?

I’m about to remove my badges prior to getting it ceramic coated. Will install two Bronco script metal badges where the Badlands sticker badge currently lives. Two questions for those who have rebadged: 1. Which company makes the best flat black, metal, Bronco script badges right now? Have seen...
  13. My experience with Ford Pass Points and Ford Performance Parts

To those in AZ and OK, you aren’t alone. I can’t order anything from Vermont either. No idea why. But I’m in the same boat. Can’t even redeem them at the dealer. And can’t order them to a dealer in NY or NH based on what I’ve found so far. Really frustrating.
  14. Bronco Off-Rodeo locations comparison?

We are going out in September. Sandwiched in between 4 days of Phish is Denver and my 30th HS reunion in Omaha. Plan is to go to Moab from Denver on the 4th, spend the 5th at Arches (timed ticket and not the park we will be off roading in, so getting it out of the way first), Off-Roadeo on the...
  15. Bronco Off-Rodeo locations comparison?

I went through this decision recently. I live in Vermont so NH is super convenient, but not all that exciting to me. Texas is — Texas, so that wasn’t really a consideration for me. And I don’t really like Vegas. Not my thing. Made Moab a real easy choice for me. I’m driving out with my best...
  16. Fitment Help with Mudflaps

As for the rubbing on the rock rails, that’s how mine sit in there too and that’s what the sheet of sticky felt is for — to mitigate the metal on plastic rubbing. With your other issue, I don’t think I experienced this if I’m understanding the photos. I believe that hole lined up fine on mine...
  17. Baja designs pro triple fog light advice for modular bumper

FWIW I put my ambers in the middle. The large ones are actually all white (picture makes them look half amber for some reason). As others have said, it’s mostly preference. There isn’t going to be any noticeable, functional difference. As for wiring, I have each set on its own aux switch. If I...
  18. Share your Bronco Photo 42024

Took it down to the shore in New Jersey for 4:20 4/20/2024. So much green.
  19. My son

This brings back some great memories. My first car was an '84 Bronco II. While I fixed some things on it back at 16, our family also developed a close, personal relationship with our neighborhood mechanic. He once joked that my Bronco paid for his new fishing boat. At least...I think that was a...
